In case anyone wasn't aware, the alpha version (phase 1) is available starting today. I downloaded it and I will get some extensive gameplay in after the workday today. It is already very promising from the five minutes I spent in it. Here is a forum post they posted detailing the alpha phase process and what will be available in today's release.
X2 ??? Intimidator 305 ??? Millennium Force ??? Iron Rattler ??? El Toro ??? Fury 325 ??? Maverick ??? Skyrush ??? Twisted Timbers ??? Voyage 250
The coaster designer is already really intuitive and powerful. If this is the pre-alpha, I'm stoked for what they develop it into over the next nine months. After about an hour and a half, I've got a B&M mega.

Keep in mind guys that these were all done using a very incomplete list of scenery that are very incomplete themselves. And this was made. Planet Coaster is a lot of fun
Coaster Count: 582 // Top Five: 1. Helix2. Nemesis3. Big Bad Wolf4. Boulder Dash5. Balder

4 G's to the taint was a bit much for me because I'm not a power bottom like Turbo
I ordered the Deluxe Edition of RTW back in September of 2015, I couldn't wait to play it. When I finally got it and started to play it I was totally let down on what a shitty job they did. I wasn't expecting this, I wish I could've got a refund but that ship has sailed. I finally stopped playing out of frustration. I pre ordered Planet Coaster but after my experience with RCTW I spent some extra cash and bought the alpha. I think it is an awesome game and I highly recommend it. I emailed Atari and told them how I feel and I wouldn't be back, but they don't care, they were just in it for the money. The RCT legacy is dead.........................

In name anyway - the guys developing Planet Coaster are ex- RCT developers I believe.

And this is why my RCT3 Disneyland recreation will remain unfinished. While RCT3 does have the potential to allow for a great recreation, especially with the Revcoasters mod pack, the realism still isn't there, this looks like a game far better at handling curved objects, which disneyland is full of; with in game scenery items, and offset/angled placement. RCT3, sadly, does not handle anything outside of a box very well.
I bought the game, but unfortunately I do not have a supercomputer so I cannot run it. Luckily, I was able to get a refund. I wish I could play this still.

Just don't employ stupid people and you're golden.
That's like finding a Waffle House with no white trash in it.
