So I finally got a chance to play Planet Coaster and I've decided to build a park that I'll eventually share on here if possible, only really managed to place a ferris wheel and an Arrow style coaster which is actually my 1st attempt at making a coaster on the game, it's actually pretty easy, I used prefab loops and a prefab batwing and I still have a lot to do around the ride like theming and smoothing out some jerky parts of the coaster, but hopefully it'll come together nicely, below I've attached some 4K screenshots.

This game is also showing off beautiful environments! I assume that the red track goes perfectly well with forest colors! I never thought that I could see such a beautiful scenery!

:D

The 1st thing I did once it was installed was check out some of the premade parks, the environments are really awesome, here's a screenshot I took whilst building my next coaster at sunset.

This has nothing to do with the park I am making, although this one is actually turning out better, it's from one of the pre-made terrains with paths etc but no rides, so I added some in and took a couple more screenshots.

It comes with the game as a scenario, and it lights up gorgeously at night. The lighting in the game is already really polished. They prepared a lot for just a first alpha release.

I probably should have mentioned the tree was part of the map but yeah they've added maps with things sculpted out of the terrain, shame the terrain editor isn't usable yet, but what's included is ok for now

Edit: A couple more screenshots from the park with the massive tree & changed the name of thread

That's really looking fantastic! Thanks for sharing - this is certainly a game I'm interested in when it gets fully released!

Nice B&M in the background. Did you know of the Smoothing tool? There's a little ^ arrow in the coaster editor and it gives a smoothing option for the selected track point.

This game is, I assume, fabulous and realistic, because fantasy and reality coexist. :)

Well it's a hell of a lot more realistic than I thought it was gonna be, like the lift has stairs and netting, also B&M style curved drops are also possible to make in a realistic way, also brake fins are detailed and lifts have motors

So Alpha 2 has gone live on Planet Coaster and after a little messing around, I managed to build a Flying Coaster (1 of the new types in the update) that I actually liked the layout of, all of the track was manually shaped, although the pretzel loop was a pain to make. I'm actually going to try and finish this park to a certain degree.

From what I can see, the shaping looks good. I'm curious how you got the pretzel so nicely. I'll have to play around with it this week, I haven't spent time in the new alpha yet.

I added some theming around the flying coaster and added a flat ride too, the overall theme I'm aiming for is a French Chateau

Looks like a hilly park where you can put a decent mountain coaster as well! :D

As cool at that sounds, the map size isn't quite big enough for that, but I like the idea, might make a "micro" mountain and do something similar to Volcano @ KD

Kinda reminds of "if Alton Towers could make a tall ride".

^^ Or I suggest making one Wiegand coaster that will fit in with the park scenery kits! :D

That's what I'm going for

I've started on a new pirate themed area now, haven't finished the scenery and placed buildings yet other than the coasters station, the coaster itself is kind of based off of Thirteen minus the indoor drop, once I can add water I'll be adding a small lake too.
