Each company has a slightly different style on the first drops, and starts to their rides. And within each company, there is quite a variety on their drop sizes and shapes, and launches, magnetic, hydraulic, and pneumatic, but overall, if you had to pick, what company do you think has been the most successful at making drops? B&M for their smooth twisting drops, their dive coasters, and their long diving floater heaven mega coaster drops, intamin for their steep ejector airtime drops, their intense hydraulic launches, and their beyond vertical drops that push the limts, arrow for their long diving curve drops on their mega loopers, or their long straight drops on their smaller loopers like vortex, and their larger hypers like magnum. Take your pick! And let us know what brought you to that descision, whether it be a coaster you have ridden or a coaster you haven't, or whatever it may be.

I say intamin myself because of their giga coaster drops, and el toro, as well as their incredible launches on their strata's, volcano, and storm runner.

CCI for wood, B&M for steel (Apollo). I like the Eurofighter first drops too, more than I liked Maverick's.

^I think he was talking to rcking. I don't think saying that EGF's drop is awesome needs much explanation haha.

I like B&M's the best. The older ones with pre-drops, but even the ones today look cool- I haven't been on many modern B&Ms.

I do enjoy Oblivion's drop, very drop tower esque. Haven't really ridden enough different types to really put out a favourite though.

Intamin has such a wide variety of "First Drops", so I have to vote them.

Intamin. Such massive variety.

Except for B&M Dive Machines, they're rather awesome.

B&M are my favorite manufacturer, but I have to say Intamin do the best drops. Even Colossus vs Nemesis Inferno, Intamin wins. Its just the rest of the ride where B&M takes the win.

B&M has great drops, definitely up there with Intamin. And we can't forget Gerstlauer, the drop on that new Fuji-Q coaster looks absolutely INSANE!!!

Well I don't think it's the manufacturer's fault if the ride has difficulty running, but, regardless, that's not what this poll is about, Highthrills2.
