Thinking of actually making a coaster like this. Thoughts?

Here's a poorly drawn out Portal coaster idea back when I was stupid and used Paint to make something obnoxious. The usefulness is up to you.

It should be a single car train so when you go through portals you won't be seeing the entire train.
You expecting something not being here?

AHG glitch, anyone?

He could go with that route, but it wouldn't be very realistic if he was to try and keep it like a real life ride.

Do a Euro-Fighter. The single car will make render it unable to see end parts of the trains, keeping the portal illusion poorly illustrated above looking good.

plus the AHG Glitch would make it a one trick pony instead od being to create a decent backstory
What are these for?

If you're looking to go the realistic route, what about incorporating a system like the sketch a few posts up for the NL creation, but for a "real" build, using mirrors? It would allow for trains longer than 1 car.

Or just synchronize the trains to come through at the same time in AJ's drawing.
Friendship is like peeing. Everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling it brings.

I think the fake track idea is best. It also probably wouldn't be particularly difficult to make, either. Sounds like it's going to be a kick-ass ride, good luck!

My drawing was proposing fake track.

Single-car ride, therefore Euro-Fighter. Besides, that ride type seems like it would be the best fit anyway. Compact indoor ride with lifts and launches.

I'm quite intrigued by this idea. Looking forward to more concept previews.
