On CBS they said it was possibly terrorist related. Is it just me or does that not make sense at all?

LA, actually most of California for that matter, has been experiencing rolling blackouts for years -- so in short, this is not really front page news. If anything, it takes some of the focus off of the hurricane after-effects -- sort of serving as a brief intermission if you need a catch-phrase for it.

Some sources for reading on this very thing --

RCT, so glad you could participate -- thank you for your thought provoking comments on this issue.
Guitarplayer, *sigh* ... you should not believe everything you hear on TV.

I didn't believe it, it sounded like something they would say to scare people that do believe everything on tv. It doesn't even make sense, like I said before.

piff, it made traffic easy for me, most of the streets I roll through are empty so I juust rolled on through the lights [lol] and no it was not a rolling blackout, rolling blackouts are planned and affect a specific area not sections this big [:)]

Of course I was speculating on the cause but I knew it was not terrorists -- reports this morning show it was nothing more than human error.
