MaxAir is an awesome ride! It's the best amusement park out there besides roller coasters!

It's the new HUSS ride at Cedar Point. And, a little hint, a little research goes a long way...

I was there on August 20th but I didn't get to ride it. Darn lines.

I had no clue, but it was all filled up to it's capacity, and plus it's not the typical coaster where one train departs and another rolls in so I assumed it was much longer.

I rode it, it's pretty cool. The airtime is nice. the lines aren't that bad either. The lined was out of the quene and I only waited 30 mins.

Well the line got messed for me since I went on the 20th, before school started, and it was on a saturday. Don't blame me, I didn't choose that date.

WTF? LOL Maxair is a RIDE not an Amusement Park!? and I believe the lines are shorter, they don't have a 5 million mile que like dragster or MF, but it is a longer wait. I rode something like it only you were facing in, and it was incredible fun. Speed >-)

Quick question:

Is MaxAir basically the same as any other Huss Frisbee or is there anything special to do with it?

The line size for MaxAir is VERY SMALL. If all the que lines are full it takes about 3-4 cycles to eat through the line. So if you are standing by where they have the test seats, its about 15 minutes.

I meant it is the best amusement park ride out there other than roller coasters, sorry for that mistake.

No, you don't go upside down. It stops at like 215 degrees, but never makes it all the way around.

Think of it this way, its a giant pendalium so it acts like a pirate ship. The part of the ride where the riders sits rotates very slowly so you get to experiance different areas of g-forces throughout the ride. It does rotate about 130 degrees, so no you do not go upsidedown.
