Following the failure of my mini-hyper coaster, I've decided to create another coaster using elementary. It's a wooden 4 seater out and back with LOADS of airtime. Airtime is not short as EVERY hill so far has at least -0.5gs. Here's some pics.

As always, no banking. Leave some comments and some pontential names. It should be released sometime next week for those who want to know.
P.S. This one is LOTS better than the mini hyper. Bump.

That looks to be fun a woodie. Are you using the heartliner to create banking? Or will you just have no banking at all?

I'll use the heartliner to make the banking most likely, If it doesn't turn out how I want it I'll just do it by hand.

He hasn't banked it yet. When he does there should be little or no g's if he uses the heartliner or some good lats if he hand banks.

2.3 wouldn't kill you, just crack a coulpe ribs, that's all. Anyone one know if there is a way to get the heartlining without the automatic 0 lateral g banking? Until I find out I'll probably jus keep it with no banking, which means I won't release it until then.

Just hand bank and see what looks good. You'll get the lats in that way.

2.4 wouldnt even crack ribs. Trust me, Ive been on a ride that hits over 2 lateral G's multiple times and I havent cracked any ribs yet. You guys overestimate those as well as underestimate what is tolerable and comfortable at the same time.

I would reccommend banking by hand first. Then setting the segments to black to keep your banking. That way you can make the banking as severe or mild as you wish. Then heartline to a 0.5 or under to retain a realistic feel.

Unless its going to be an Intamin Plug n' Play, then by all means heartline the snot out of it.

That sounds like a good way to do it Real, thanks. I was thinking about making it an Intamin Plug N' Play, but 0lats just didn't fit in with the ride. Here's some screenies of the finished coaster - banking.

I'm sorry to say not every hill gets -0.5 gs. The little bump thing before the hill onto the brakes only gets -0.4 gs [:(]. I'm so dissapointed with myself.

Here's the final ride, only one screenie though. I don't have enough time to post any more. If you wanna test leave your e-mail and I'll send it to you later in the day. Jimmy Yoshi

IMO, it seems sort of short lived. Hopefully it comes off looking more realistic than a coaster in the middle of nowhere <grin> - but even as a psuedo-double out-n-back it seems pretty shortlived and without much excitement -- sans some airtime, IMO.

There is a way to do the banking by the AHG.
Open the Coaster in the CK and scale the Y-axis down to 15-25%. Then you note the v-in and out, and put the segments through the ahg. After that you just scale the whole thing back too the original height. I used this on Corsair and it works pretty good IMO.

IMO, the ride is reasonably exciting, and the reason it's in the middle of nowhere is because I have no 3d skill or terraforming skill whatsoever. Well, your entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine, but make sure you download it. OK? BTW way I uploaded it today and here's a link http://www.coastercrazy.com/track_exchang ... p?tid=8522. If you look please download and rate, also the screenshot there is not the correct one. Please refer to the one above.
