One of us should go to a library, or something of that nature, create an a CS account, and just start a topic that just rips the "gods" and the entire CS site. Bity, honestly you suck. CS has around a 40% ban per member rate, over here it's like less than a percent, and WWS and Edge are never uptight about anything. You treat your "gods" like babies, omg he got an 8 for a rating, ban the person. Over here you get what you deserve, not what the uploader wants. You guys seriously suck, you can go ban me from the site now if you really want. Your layout over there, is a headache in stupid names for site locations form. WWS is the greatest coaster site next to RCDB imo, and I'm sure many would back me up about this. CS.com sucks monkey balls, plain and simple.

The reason why i eventually turned to CS and basically quit here has directly to do with the one i'm quoting here. You, edge, made me leave this place and not upload anymore. And the response to my recent removal request only has strengthened my reservedness for wws.com.

BTW, edge, there is something called "copyright". No i'm not petty about that, the behavior of jan to 1)not ask me beforehand, to 2)not credit me on his upload and to 3)even grant another wws member to use "his" textures is, IMHO, plain malice. And CS actually respects the copyright, his upload there was removed.

That being said, I don't think you get banned fomr CS the instant you're doing something wrong. I myself made a mistake once, and i was never banned. I remember the more recent weeks there was quite a troll on CS and the admins felt unable to ban him because he didnt violate the CS ToS. When he eventually did, he was banned. I think everyone who got banned from CS didnt got banned for no reason.

I know myself there were quite some people banned from CS, but i think that's why surfing CS is quite more enjoyable than surfing other sites, simply, because people who don't know who behave can hardly be found at CS.

That being said, i still consider to get back onto wws. This black/white painting of CS or wws (that i only seem to find here on wws) and the rivalry between the two sites i couldnt care less about.

I think its a pretty good site, just ruined by the people that run it. One thing I particularly hate is the way you can get your rating priviges taken away. I bevieve that the point of rating is to be able to express your opinion about a ride, and maybe try to help the designer while you do it. If a few people thought it was awesome, but you thought otherwise, you chould be able to say that without getting the ability to rate taken away from you...
Its been a while since ive been there tho, my "handstamp" or whatever died, and I forgot what age i faked. I do wish that some of the designers over there would post over here. I know Hansixx used to, but stoped because he disliked someones rating on one of his rides and some other track stuff... Phyter has an account here, not sure if hes ever used it tho...

The site is good but I hate having my hand stamp rubbed of just because I don't visit the site like every 5 hours(that was an exageration by the way)
.I forgot my password supposedly had a mail sent to me to unlock it I haven't had a response so basically if they can't be arsed to make the site a bit more accesable then I can't be arsed to go there.

I personally don't think its a horrible site. I like WWS better, but CS is good to check out every now and then.

hansixx the reason why there's no such topic as this on cs.com is because ppl may find out that wws.com is better and so everybody who begins such a topic will be banned.

and yes ppl get banned without a reason, cos if your status on cs.com is slighty less than perfect, ban

the reason why you aren't getting banned is because your a good designer...nothing more nothing less. That's why they let you make violations, because they need you...

as for the jan issue, who cares if some uses a cartexture yes of no, if you don't want cartexures used, don't upload them, for me they have the same value as an element...part of a bigger thing, the ride itself...

though you are on our side saying this, let me make a correction, they don't let topics like so stand long, they don't let people vent themselves. I surely would get a kick out of the people there to see what they have to say. It only provides feedback on what to improve. Some people should consider this viewpoint and work on it. I've seen it on othe robscure sites, taken the info, implemented a fix and bam, we get more members doing stuff on the site, of course we are no longer a track exchange only site mind you.

Are you really sure you want to ask this question? I mean, if WWS started frowning on idiot postings ... well ... this place may turn into a ghost town around here in about 30 to 45 seconds.

Hmm Copy right now lets see there is a pack of objects available on CS a least one of the textures used is available on the net for free, yet they say that you can't use there 3ds on other sites. Well I could quite easliy say make a concrete path and use it in my own design using the same texture. How would they tell Which is there 3d's and wich is mine?. If I post textures here in my creations then bu virtue of uploading them I am saying use them all you want. WWS is the best site.
