Good VIDEO, but my question is why do they let you have a video camera on the rides? Also arent you afraid of dropping the camera, or having it fly back and smack someone. Good video
yeah, the camera is about about the size of your fist, and he has an extension thats about the size of your finger. But they don't let your bring cameras on. The camera was bought specifically for that reason, or so Mr. Slap says....

Nice video.
My brother bought a CVS throw away video camera and hacked it so we could re-use it as much as we wanted. I got onrides of every coaster at Valleyfair (not very exciting but o well) but now something's wrong with it and he's to lazy to fix it so no vids yet. Anyway, I just had the camera in my pocket and pulled it out on the lift hill. Also, I had made my own wrist strap for it so I wouldn't lose it (even though it only cost $30 which is why I was using it in the first place)
Pretty nice vid. I can understand the not direct shot in the beginning with the ops. Looks like the gs are pretty intense in the pull-up on the top hat.
I use a DV cam. I've done about 30 onrides and never had a single prob, well, once my lens cap came off but thank God that happened on a stand-up, so I just stepped on it and got me vid! =) I carry a bag so I just hold the bag instead of leaving it in the station and they don't care. Then I wip it out on the lift. Launch coasters are harder, on those, I put the camera under my shirt and pull it out after the ops pass me. Pretty simple once you get used to it. No worries.
That I haven't. When we went to BGT they wouldn't even let a bag in the line, let alone on the ride. I'm guessing thats how CP is. Thats why I went with compactness in mind when I got me cam. =P
Yea, its all about the media. If they got ahold of something like that where someone got hurt because of a 2lb cam, they would jump on it like crazy.
Everybody acts like its dangerous or they'll lose their camera. I think its dangerous but I never once thought I'd lose it. The rides aren't that rough. =)
