Heres some pictures of my stealth rec. Make the most of the pics, as im not uploading it as i dont want it bashed by people about being a few feet off, or the acceleration being 0.08 of a second off the released acceleration stats. Im also not uploadingit as the top hat is still a little off. When theres a bit more construction done, i will go back and make it as close as i can get it. At the moment, the tops too sharp giving too much airtime, so i had to put a damn trim brake in. I really hope thorpe dont have to do that. Supports were hard to do, as all i had to go by were the lower supports already up, and a plan from top view.

this ride looks so bla compared to Superman. Why aren't you guys as hooked on that ride, as your are this?

(I'm not saying I agree with them, but here are some possible reasons)

1. Location:
Stealth is being built right here in England, on many of the 'excited people's "doorsteps". Australia really is quite a distant away.

2. Publicity:
With Stealth, construction updates are being brought more regularly, giving it more time in the limelight. Also the fact that Tussauds themselves are highly promoting the coaster (with great access to the construction site obviously) doesn't harm!

3. (To a lesser extent):
Stealth is faster, and also has a Top-Hat element.
Rita has airtime aplenty, just as I'm sure the Superman will have.

----------

So 'in conclusion' those are some possible reasons, but I know for certain that I'm looking forward to the opening of Superman in Australia very much [:)]

Secondly, Superman can be added to the list of coasters that I would tag with the quote:

"Now...if only it was closer/being built here"

I heard they are working on hydraulics and electrics already. This is why no more work has been done on the top hat yet. Have yoiu any idea if thats true dragon?

Exactly true. As we know 'RCS' (Ride Construction Service) are putting up the ride and a company called 'Devine' are involved in the ground clearance, buildings work etc.

Work has also been happening with the electronics under the station and part of the winch mechanism has been installed already.

As you can also see from the latest pictures, the full height supports are starting to be built up now & today trackwork continued upto the descent twist of the top-hat [:)]

Anyway, I'll leave you with an update from the 20th:

what? [lol] "too bad I live in a country with two other coasters of over double the height and much more speed that have better top hats, too bad I don't live in the country where they are building a half sized one" [lol] I can think of other reasons why you might say "too bad I live in America", this however, is not one of them [lol]

LOOKS AMAZING! It is dwarfing everything in the park already Gouldy!!!! And the top hat is only half way up! This is a huge thing for the UK as it has been over 10 years that we have got a coaster this tall, and this fast, and that will be marketable to the whole of the general public. Its gonna be awesome, and its gonna be one of them coasters that get on the news and stuff. YAY. Its been ages since that, the last coaster i saw on the news from the UK was Oblivion i think. But Kingda Ka still made it on the UK news somehow aswell.

I cant wait for this now. Have you notices how big the top hat is compared to the airtime hill already? You are going to have so much speed going over that. In my rec it goes over the hill at 64mph! [:D]

As i'd see on the pictures it's more like 2/3th of the airtime hill has brake fins... But that's probably just for now because of later testing?

supports look cool, they're made in a way that the track is more open, xcel's tower supports are left and right to the track with blocks the view a bit...

anyways, i wish they made the paint fade something higher, 2/3 instead of ending halfway
