Ok so here is another one of my topics that is not really important, but I thought it would be an interesting one!

So which do you think is the best element:

Height or Speed

Smilie Terms

[peakhill] or [launch]

Or if you don't know put both, or as I don't think will happen put non!

Uhhhh, doesn't height contribute to speed? So, aren't these dependant on one another?

So think about it -- how can they be compared as separate items?

Doh!

Rita is fast, but not high, same for Dodonpa
The High Roller is high, but not fast [:P]

Height isn't very important to me, you only have a nice view for a second or 5

Have you gotten a basic grasp of kinetic and potential energy yet Coaster? Because then you would see that as TCon is right about height depending on speed with a lift coaster. But, with launched coasters it is a different story. The speed is created at the bottom and then it goes up. So in this case you might be able to get away with a height is dependent on speed one here.

Thank you Jakizle, I never would have known that (eye roll). It is called sarcasm, and I was attempting to get the "WWS Spam Queen" to see that if he is going to post, taking the time to explain himself is not a terrible thing and actually goes a long way. But, if it weren't for you ... geesh ... I just do not know what I would do.

Ok I think I'm finally getting to what he's asking. Are coasters that go fast better than those that go high? Pretty sure that's what he's wanting answers to.

Maybe Coaster could rule beside hyyyper as the king and queen of Spamotopia? Hyyyper being the king and coaster the queen.

Spamotopia: The land where everyone speaks in one line and it is commonplace for people on the streets to ask you stupid questions.

ha, you're nowwhere near me!

as for the topic...i think i like to have a huge drop...
cos:

height in meter * mass of the car in kilograms * 9,81 (speed of light) - friction (10%) = speed in meters per second

i think that was the formula, otherwise i know why i only had a C+ for physics
