btw, the pic of the helix, the connector tubes that run from the angled supports to the footers (on the inner circle) should be thicker, now the weight is pushing on those little beams, they should be the same size as the angled ones, or maybe thicker if there are high G's

But the supports look like crap if I make those beams bigger. I might lower the connection point with the small vertical tubes.

And if you want tube sizes, the angled tubes and the ones that come out of the footers are both size 3. So there is no difference in size. It may appear that way because my screenie is not the best.

Just a small update. After flanging the track I've decided that I like the supports better when they are unflanged. The flanges came out looking really bad. Supports are done and pics should be up later.

now that you mention it, yes, perhaps making then thicker or the other ones thinner, but, it's your coaster, do want you can leave undone

I'm going to stick with the supports the way they are. I'm adding trees right now and maybe I'll add a small pond or something. Pictures will be up after this and then the ride will be up on the 26th for the contest.
