height in meter * mass of the car in kilograms * 9,81 (speed of light) - friction (10%) = speed in meters per second

I'm glad we dont need to take g force into consideration here. Also i never knew 9,81 was the speed of light....9,81 mega metres per month? Units? Also it would be quite intresting to try to derieve meters per second from height (metres) and mass (kg). You could have kgm-1 but ms-2? You need to put time in there also. I am surprised, if not shocked that you got a C+ in physics

Furthermore, TConwell there is no need to complain about coasterboaster spamming when i see you doing a fair share of the offending in this thread too. In defence of coasterboaster he is just trying to keep the forums alive and he is doing a good job in my opinion.

As for the actual question. Speed is better than height hands down. One word...Nemesis...well any ride at Alton Towers

dont ask me where it came from
einstein figured it out that the speed of light had something to do with energy, mass and speed (e=mc2)
the unit of the speed is million kilometers per second, but not needed in this formula, because it's a constant value

Coaster, I have been rebuked and you have received a compliment from "the supreme Edge". It is time now, as we all know in WWS tradition, for you to put on your knee pads and take care of Edge, for he has defended you ... and your honor.

However, he is keeping the forums alive and providing much entertainment.

Please stop! Lets not even go into it

As for TConwell, You make me sick! [lol] I was thinking of posting something about your sexual relations with Tyler in reply...but really didn't feel like it

E=mc2 is the theory of relativity isnt it. I learnt about it in physics but just briefly, as you dont often learn that at GCSE. Hyyyper i beat you, MWAHAHAHAHA, 149 out of 150 in me GCSE science exam. w00t. And a C in the science im taking at A level, well 3 marks of a B! [:D]

I would just say look at test track at Epcot. Its really fast, and not high at all, but it aint a coaster really so.....

Test track is 60 mph -- TOPS ... and it sucks. Been there, waited in line for 2 hours, rode in 7 mins and left mad. I felt the same as when I had to pay to watch "The Blair Witch Project".

e=mc2 is part of the relativity theorie, it's about time is not constant because of graviatational forces (not to do with G-forces somehow), e=mc2 explainted = energy in kilojoules = mass in kilograms * 9.81^2. you jpecool if you weight 60 kilos (estimate), and your body would be used to power something without 100% effiency and no friction your body would produce aeiouy 5774.166 KJ, if i'm not mistaken...

suffering from vertigo and now being seemingly obsessed with the feeling of acceleration, it's speed all the way for me [:)]

But really I don't think this topic has been about that since about 3 posts in [lol]

It may have sped up since we rode ... still, that speed lasts about 30 seconds. The rest of the ride is indoors putting a car through test paces like in a factory. It starts with a sim/video -- then you get on the ride.

I don't think it feels the same as a coaster even though it goes about as fast as the average one at 60mph!

If you have height, you can just put alot of tiny drops with trims after every tiny one, possibly making the thing taller than KK byt slower than a kiddy coaster, but you can have a intamin Rocket that goes a gazillion mph at only like 50 feet tall, and still make an awesome ride, so all in all, I would choose height and speed, but speed can be exciting without height, not vice versa.
