So what coaster do you think is Intamin's worst product?
I saw a POV of Thunder Dolphin, and I'm going to have to say that ride. Other than the drop, and one other spot, the ride looks pretty poor, but I blame it on the park. For having Intamin build so high up not really allowing much speed, but they do fit it into a place where not other ride could really fit, so I guess its not all bad.

It's have to be FLASHBACK. Nothing else comes close.

Some of the coasters that Bollinger and Mabillard built while with Intamin are not the best. Flashback specifically.

My understanding is that most of the blame for those rides lies with Stengel. From what I've heard, B&M at the time only handled the technical engineering (trains, track system, etc) and had little or nothing to do with the actual track design.

All I said was that Bollinger and Mabillard built those coasters for Intamin, not designed them. So I'm not blaming Bollinger and Mabillard for the poor performance of Flashback.

actually, I don't think flashback is that bad. FOr its size its pretty good, and the helix at the end is pretty good, as well. The only problems with it is its just kind of slow and that OTSR/Lapbar combo.

I would probably ride Flashback, its just not something I consider to be Intamin's best work. The helix looks fun and so do some of the dives.

thorazine, i agree
flash back is terrible
it hasn't been open for i think around 5 years
they should get rid of it
its not only slow, but it hurts so much

please, if you ever meet the guy that designed it, knock some sense into him

The last I know of, Flashback last ran in the spring of '03. But if anyone has been on it since, I'd like to know.

I think Six Flags could turn Flashback into something to be a little more proud of by paying B&M to change out the old trains with new floorless trains, boosting the comfort and adrenaline. Six Flags could also repaint Flashback so it looks like what it looked like in its heyday or they could give it a new paint job. I believe there's still life in that coaster. You just have to know where to look.

And slow coasters can still be good. There's all that anticipation built up in waiting for one of those unique dives.

The problem with Flashback (well, ONE problem, the one that keeps it from operating) is the noise. That causes issues with the water park. Apparently the lifeguards were raising hell about the racket.

Then fill the supports with sand. Do anything to get that coaster oporational again. It's a one of a kind.

I know I may sound a little immiture again, but ever since I first saw Flashback, I've liked it. Something about it interested me.

Well, if the management cared to get it running, there are certainly things that could be done. But really, why? It's a ride that has consistently ranked at the very bottom in both ridership and guest satisfaction.

I would probably say flashback. It doesnt look all that great to me, i mean, it looks fun, but a little repetitive and slow.

Its near the entrance to the park, off to the right. I think it looks fun. Never seen it run though.
