I guess sometimes they make the ride better. I don't really know what to think of this topic. It seems kinda pointless.

it depends on the type of the ride imo. For example: Son of the beast. A woodie with a looping, sounds awesome but from comments it's a lame ride. But on other types like those corkscrews it needs inversions to be a little fun. Have you ever seen a corkscrew then with no inversions. Not me...

4. ROFL

[lol][lol][lol][lol][lol][lol]Yeah and once the ride was over they could say they have been on the tallest and fastest coaster, with the biggest loop. Excluding Kingda ka. once the people got off there faces would be as white as a ghost.[lol][lol][lol][lol][lol][lol]

Thats not because it has a loop, its because the park chain doesn't particularily take good care of thier wooden coasters, and the trains aren't that good.

But rides with out loops usually b&m hypers and intiman hypers those are funner then a coaster with inversion because of there speed and height and dont forget the AIRTIME!!!

This question is quite pointless IMO. Each coaster is built to to focous on an aspect of the ride. Hypers focous on raw speed and airtime, woodies focous on airtime and lats, and loopers focous on, well, loops! Imagine if every ride included a loop!! rides would lose so much of their originality. Also, not everyone likes inversions, everyone has their own preferances, that is why we have so many different tyoes of coasters.

BTW, I know the are exceptions to these focous', but I generalized things:)

Don't double post and don't clog up my bandwidth with 5 million laughing smileys. That's not cool.

bigboy has it right. However, I prefer good old wooden airtime and especially laterals to all other coasters.

Loops do nothing for me. I enjoy them, but an inversion is an inversion. Going upside down is all the same to me.
