lol, there different pitches. The smallest is the highesy pitch and the biggest the lowest. I hate to play the last bass. We have 7, god that be heavy. lol, i liked my little bass.

If you look at the picture the drum with five put together is a tenor. or quad.

I figured it was something like that. With the different pitches. Bigger being lower of course. Do you have any Bari Saxes in your band? And if you want to talk more about this stuff and let other people talk here. I could AIM you.

Is that one picture with you in it the one with all the base drums?

7 Baris [:O]. My school doesn't even own that many. But, I am pretty good at Bari even if I am the worst in the school. Which would just mean we have good bari players.

Despite drums being hollow there still is a lot of stuff there for you to carry. The bass drum in my concert band is about 4 feet in diameter. It's huge.

I'm not actually in the Marching Band, though I am in the Concert Band. Last Friday we had this cool thing, where all the 7th and 8th graders (I'm in 8th) got to go to the high school, and peform with the marching band. It was cool, the football team won 38-0 against Latrobe (I go to Gateway), and the band members were really nice to us. We got to go on the field and perform the Song Spirt of America, and our fight song. Also they anounced our names on the loudspeakers, but they screwed up my name soooo bad that no one recognized it (That's a good thing, because I didn't feel like taking the harrasment from my Jr. High football team).

Your Jr. High has a fight song? Mine doesn't. BTW my schools marching band played at our homecomming game. My team won 52-6. Ouch.

Sorry I forgot to mention, it was a high school game.

EDIT: It would be rather hard for me to play in a marching band for my Jr. High and play football at the same time.

I'm part of my high schools marching band. We're called the Marching Knights. Anyone from the central Illinois area knows us. There's 150 of us, and there's only about 10 of us trumpets. I play 2nd part. For our next performance on fri., we'll play Disco Inferno, and Pretty Fly (for a white guy), our fight song along with two other tunes.

our football team is the best in our city (Peoria). We rolled over Galesburg High School 50-7 @ Galesburg. It was great.

lol, i was a freshman last year. I played bass sorry i put tenor for the macys parade thing. I get mixed up all the time. I played the first bass and that thing gets heavy after the first two blocks. I always wondered why i didnt get put on the cymbal line last year. I was one of three freshman that actually played a drum. The rest played cymbals.

yeah
they only put us on cymbals cuz they had enough people, and we were smaller, couldn't carry them

i can cream the bases in anything other than bass
