well if he has any sense, he'll vote for Pro [:)]

"Fifa definately theres no contest they have complete originality and the first touch was genious" [lol] I should hope you are being sarcastic, because you know aswell as I do that the whole first touch thing has been on every single Pro Evo, then on the latest Fifa, they steal the idea and make such a big fuss about it being this really great new thing.

PRO EVO ROCKS!!!!! I have 2 pro evo games, and no FIFA ones. FIFA sucks, yay they have the liscences for names, but the game play is really bad, and the controls arent as good and responsive as pro evos are. Pro evo kicks FIFAs ass!!! End of! hehe.

^^ They just learn American football where they hardly use their feet. Actual it does look like an alright game, but not a patch on Rugby IMO.

^^^^^ American Football is sooo boring so much stopping and starting, Even tho rugby league stops at every tackle there playin in another 3 seconds american football takes ages to set another play. Rugby union is very fast paced tho.

Rugby is awesome. I wish i could play it well. Im not too good. But quite a few of my friends play for county. I swear, 1 of em will get to play for England one day, they are awesome. I think American Footy looks alright, but yeah, not a patch on rugby.

ive never even heard of these games so yea

You've never heard of "soccer" and rugby???? Next you will be saying you've never heard of cricket.........

OMG you havent heard of cricket!!! [lol]

Seriously man, why the hell is this so important to Americans? Wtf?

in "Soccer" on average, there is about 30 minutes between each goal, on AVERAGE. Waiting longer for something only serves to make the elation greater when the event finally occurs, agreed? This, I think is one of the main reasons why it is a FAR more passionate game than any American game, even Ice Hockey (british invention [:)]) which I do love, still doesn't have anywhere near the same kind of passion as what you'll find in an English football stadium. Still, I much prefer to watch American Football than Baseball (English invention [:)]), baseball imo, is THE single worst sport in the world, even worse than cricket, and that really is saying something. Americans go on about how nothing happens in "soccer" and yet they love baseball, I don't know, but i think the word is hypocrite [lol] You would actually have to be tanked up with beer or drugs to watch that game and get excited by it. Basball is on at like 2AM here in England on channel 5, and I use it to help me sleep [:)]

[lol][lol], I totally agree, Cricket and baseball are much the same thing, only cricket players really are girls, they have almost as much padding as American Football players [lol]

Cricket is far cooler than Baseball, without a doubt.

Hey, dont act like soccer players dont have paddding. Shin guards, ankle guards, hip padding and for goalies, extra hip padding and gloves with finger protectors.

But I wouldnt play without those. With as much diving, shin kicking and finger bending goes on I certainly dont want to enjoy going home with bloody shins, broken fingers and bruised sides. Wearing padding doesnt make you a girl, it makes you smart.

hmmmm, I feel that could just be in America because I know for a fact that in the English game you are only allowed to wear shin pads, nothing more, nothing less, but they hardly help if you get kicked in the back of the leg (as I'm sure Henrik Larsson or Djibril Cisse will tell you [lol]) Goal keepers ofcourse have the fingersave stuff in the gloves but that's it, no more than the outfield players wear. When I play football I swap between playing up front and playing in goal, I wear no shin pads or any of this "hip pads" rubbish you're talking about [lol] and when I go in goal I just pull the gloves on, mine do not have fingersave however, but they just make it so it doesn't sting like hell when you save the ball heh heh. When you dive to the floor in goal when you're saving a shot or whatever, sure it hurts for a seconds, but .... so [lol] it's a sport, get on with it. I do actually think that all the padding you are talking about, is just in the MLS or American soccer in general, because in the 70's, the MLS actually tried to introduce helmets for the players [lol][lol][lol], I can't believe how much I laughed when I first heard about that hahaha.

I don't believe wearing padding is smart actually, not only (from my point of view), is it extra money that I need not spend to just have some fun playing footy, but also, the more padding and jipe you wear, the more of a hinderence there will be to your actual ability to play the game. I'm sure American Footballers would be able to run a hell of a lot faster without all the (IMO) needless crap strapped to them. And I honestly do think it is needless crap, rugby is a more violent game and they wear no more than "soccer" players in terms of padding, except for the gumshield.

My point about all that padding and stuff, is not actually so much that it makes the people wearing it, girls, it's more that it's pointless I think. With the whole "girls" thing, I was trying to come down to the level of American football, which I believe is entirely about bravado and not much else, which is definitly NOT what I think sports should be about.
