I don't know, I think this past year they have tried to clean the park up rather than build stuff!

Apparently they are planning an Intamin rocket which will be the tallest and fastest coaster in the world, and it will go out over the sea front and perform a top hat over the sea built on a specially made pier.

Not sure if thats going ahead though.

yes, there was a rumor that the highest and fastest should be build in there, but i guess something like that never will come. I guess the highest and fastest will be quicker in the netherlands then in blackpool [lol]

What could come next year? I dunno, nothing? Cause if there should be something big next year in blackpool alot of consturction should happen. And i don't think any construction is seen... And of cource, if it was for next year, tons of advertisment should have happened then...

The plans for the Huge rocket coaster were thrown away only leaving enough money for multi-million casinoes. This was because it was up to the councill as the rollercoaster wasnt going to be built on BPB's land.

love the ark but is there any more room for any more coasters because most of the rest of the rides are protected, but a lot of the recent additions recently have centered around the walkway over the lake so i think nothing is going to happen next year but 2008 is promiicing to be very intresting

I heard that it is supposed to go through that Sandcastle which does not belong to the PB! So maybe thats why they had to scrap the plans!

There have been rumours about B&M inverted track seen heading North of Alton Towers ...and there arn't a lot of parks North of Alton Towers that could afford such a thing.

Blackpool would find room for a new huge coaster. The rest of their stuff is all intertwined, what makes you think a new coaster should eb any different? the park maybe small, but they use the space well.

Still - seems odd to me that we havn't heard anythign about the mysterious plain black B&M track since it was lasted spotted and that track would be arriving before the enthusiasts knew anything.

I doubt this was the reason. In fact, i very much doubt they where ever getting a rocket...

Windy Brittish Coastline + 400ftpluss coaster stretching out over the sea? What idiot thought of that? Expeshally after their troubles with the PMBO.

Grow a brain, guys. It ain't happening. I veyr much doubt BPB have the money to afford somthing like this anyway. I doubt Tussauds even do...
