This is a dueling inverted 4-seater, themed of course to a sphinx, one side being the lion half and the other being the human half. I have the backstory to it and some pretty cool ideas. I don't have a whole lot done, because I just started yesterday, but it is going to be nice, at least from my point of view. The lion side, being the 'brutal' animal that it is, will be pulling some slightly higher G's, but no red ones, don't worry. This is the link for the Dev Center.

I will be terraforming and tunneling some parts to spice it up since I have no artistic skills in any free 3ds program, let alone the money to pay for a nice one. [:p] Here's a little bit of the story:

Sphinx's are very intelligent creatures that have a human head, normally a woman's, and a lion's body. These magnificent creatures normally kill those who cannot answer their riddles.

I do have a riddle written down for this, which I will display when I release the ride.

I believe that is all for now. Any comments, critisizem, or advise or anything you can think of is perfectly welcome.

Well, the picture doesn't show very much, but the banking on the drop looks a bit off. I think it should start banking a little earlier.

I've got it so where it banks to the right a little bit at first, and the other side is going to be banked a little to the left. That's just a wierd thing I thought I'd try. It's so you can see the other peoples faces heading off the first drop.[:)]

I have updated with two new screen shots, one of which shows most of the layout of the first half so far, and the other an inversion; half cobra roll, half corckscrew leading into a diving turn.

I will try to update a little more frequently too. I just have not been home a whole lot lately, and been horribly tired. Comments and responses are welcomed.[:p]

It looks neat, creative. Please break out of the boundaries and use your imagination! I rather have a totally unique coaster than a boring typical B&M clone like coaster. I just hope it's smooth.

To coasterkkrazy, the other track hasn't been built yet. and I will definately try to work on that boomerang. To brtnboarder495, thanks for the tips;)...and I am working very hard to make it smooth and about 95% of what is built is very smooth.

I have updated the project (http://nldc.interfix.net/p870) with two more screen shots. I have now finished the first side (other than tidy up smoothing), and will begin work on the other side tomorrow.[;)]

It's been a really long time since I have updated on here, but I have been working on this. I put a new picture up at http://nldc.interfix.net/p870 showing the progress; I have finished with the first side, I haven't gone back to smooth it out just yet and I have finished about half of the second side...any comments are indeed approved.

I would love to do 3ds...but I don't have any real artistic skills in making my own objects in the programs that are free...I understand the tutorials, but alas, I cannot put that knowledge to good use:(...lol...and thanks for the color suggestion...I just did the colors I have now so you can distenctly tell the two sides apart.

can you post a pic of the new colors?!, And once the track is done as people to test it and stuff then maybe if they think the track is good enough they'll offer to do 3ds?

It's going to have three during the ride, one during the final brake run, and one at the top of the hill...but I only count the three...

CoAsTeRkRazY...what color would you prefer as the rails?

There it is with the silver rails...I don't know if I like the silver supports...I guess I'll see when I actually put them in...it'll look much much different...so thanks for your feedback. I'll try to update as often as twice or three times a week...it may vary considering school is bogging me down, but I'll try to squeeze it in here.

looks better now, as for the supports, i'd go with a color that's a little bit of both, like some desert brown or dark orange...

I'm still throwing around ideas for colors of supports...I probably won't worry about them until the very end...but anyways...

I just thought I'd give an update...all I really did was smooth it out a little bit and kind of played with a few ideas about what to put in next...also, all the timing (so far) is pretty good...so all I really have left to do is finish, terraform, add trees...and if anyone wants to add 3ds (after of course they test it) then it would be welcomed.

My plan is to have this finished by Halloween...I'm not sure if I can, but that's the plan...I have a lot of stuff going on...what with school, travel, work (soon), and then my own special Halloween thing...just all kind of mixes up...if anyone needs/wants to talk to me and I don't reply to the PM here, you can i.m. me on AOL Instant Messanger...I'm always online...although I am away a lot...so that's pretty much it...I'll update again probably on Friday or something.[:p]

So sorry it's been a while since an update...I reformatted my computer last week and it hasn't been as easy as previously thought to have everything up and running. I haven't reinstalled NoLimits yet because I moved all the tracks and files and such over to the "new" hard drive, but I have to re-register and I don't have my info....so I have to buy a separate one off of the site...again, sorry...it'll probably still be a while before I get this back up and running again. Thanks for your patience.
