One thing that would make me very happy is if the friction wasn't so ridiculously high. Also, the spacing of the auto supports is way too large and unrealistic, not to mention the fact that the wooden beams are massive compared to real ones.

Its just way too unrealistic to build a wooden coaster in NL without these rather simple modifications to the game.

Alot of others stated already good idea's.
But I would like to see more station options and more tree selections.
Also would be cool if it added features like park benches, trash cans, booths.I have seen designers use those but I dont know if they make them through OC or a different program that has that pre-made.

I agree with almost everything said but I would like to add a "challenge" section or scenarios.

Nothing that I believe has been said here hasnt been said already to the Dev team.

They pretty much have a list of every coaster out there - and its on The List.
Then, when it comes to the editor, virtually every suggestion Ive seen has been made to the team in some form or close to it. Also added to The List.

I know its just a thread to throw around ideas but you can be sure that "The List" basically is "Real Life" and they are aware of what the communities want. When will it all get in there? Who knows. How much will get in? Who knows.

Sit tight. I would think we should see some news springing up sometime soon for the next installment. Its been quite awhile.

A challenge section wouldn't be original. Ultimate ride has a challenge section. Besides, no limits is a challenge, there are tons of things to learn in the game.

I emailed the Nolimits team with my ideas and i got a response from Ole quite a while back saying it was on the list to be added.

So hopefully my idea will be added.

I will only tell you if it has been added.

I can only hope that in the future updates or whatever they do that they improve the editor. I would really like it to be a bit more like Autocad. It would make supporting and building in general if it had a 'layers' feature where you can turn the layers on and off, change the colour of everything on that layer etc.
It would also be nice if the outline of the stock tunnels in NL were visible in the editor.

^That would seem like a good idea to me and probably wouldn't be that hard to get used to. And it would be nice if we could tunnel test and measure g's in the editor.

Another thing I would want would be the Giovanola hyper trains, but considering they've only been used on just a handfull of coasters, its probably not worth the trouble to program them.

Yes I know bit I would like to be able to size every tree individually (just like Scream Machines)

I would like to see the track be able to spit up (with cool junction points) eg, into two stations, and it alternates the train dispatch.
Maybe manual dispatching more 'complicated', for example, if there are two stations, select which station to depart from, thus stopping NL making the second station automatic.
Also, track transfer shed to add more trains, take away them... etc..
Cosater/car break downs? I know NL is essentualy a track building and testing, it would be cool to make NL more of a 'game'

What I would love to see (no offense meant on the CS or NLDC or CoasterCandy folks -- I am not recommending treading on your stuff) ... would be the have more 3Ds standard in the game ... to include the park pack. Many people lack the creativity to create 3Ds, and sometimes using ones that are provided (from the aforementioned areas) we end up making the size unrealistic. I think having them in there, at a set height (etc.) for what it would really be like, would be a great asset to help theme and finish rides off.

i'd say grab the environment editor, there is an option inside that allows to change the tree size and stuff.

www.grafimetricstudios.com

Hmmm.... is the website currently down?

I realize that ... I was referring to more a "stock" (standard) option that would realistically size some things to scale.

i think that they should make the editor a choice between 3-D and 2-D, it would help me alot.

If you look closer in The Voyage Offride.. you see that there is another (new) camera feature used.. the camera stays still but follows the car with few zooming.. cool feature :D
Hope it will be in the new update :D

using the environment wouldn't allow me to set two of the same tree at different heights. and the link is http://www.gravimetricstudios.com/

just my two cents..... an option where a passenger load can be monitoreed, not like a thrill level rct thing but like a simulated load, one can place passenger loads in different/all parts of the train and veiw the results... in real life an empty train is gonna have different results that one with any passengerws... the passengers don't even have to be visible, just the stats change in accordance with the type and distribution of the load..
