Here is the forum to argue against which is better Disney or Universal?

Depends what age groups were looking at really. For children Disney, but for everyone else Universal. Universal has bigger and better rides

I am not sure Disney in Paris has a coaster no other can compete with Space Moutain Mission 2 I mean nothing from Universal comes near to that!!!

coasterboaster, space mountain mission 2 is pretty boring. Is exact the same track as 1 only different music and new theming. I've seen recreations of the new version and imo it's not that impressive. I'd rather would have something like the incredible hulk coaster then space mountain.

I know that the tracks the same but the ride has changed as well I mean the ride is alot faster and the launch is longer so yeah I know what you mean.

The videos of this ride look crap becuase it does not pick up the whole thing because its in the dark! I know many people who have done TTD and all thoose other fancy new rides and still rate this as no.1!

Also saying you have seen recreations of this coaster I hope you don't mean the ones on Disney Coaster because thats nothing like the real layout and it makes the whole thing look slow!

i don't even have disney coaster. I mean on NoLimits. That one is a good recreation of the whole ride. But i have ridden Space mountain 1 a few years ago and it ain't that spectaculair...

Well the old one was just the pits compared to the new and improved coaster!

Space mountain mission 2 can no way beat Hulk and Dueling Dragons, surely? Maybe if your a dark coaster freak.

I've been to both, and I just like Universal more. it's more of a thrill park, while disney is just a child's park.

Disney is definitely more family oriented than Universal. Their parks are also built to hold more people and if Expedition Everest is any indication, they like to do much more theming. I guess I prefer Disney, but I've only ever been to one Universal Park and that was before they got Revenge of the Mummy.

It all depends on how you look at Disney.

Their was the Disneyland up till Finding Nemo came out. Then Disneyland/Disney was the greatest, with no equal. Then Pixar came into play, and then it became Pixarland. Seriously, Disney has really taken a plunge, everything is based on their damn 3D movies now. Like the Finding Nemo submarine ride, that would have been so much cooler if it was Atlantis ride they were planning to build.

As for Universal, they can still make things original, which makes it the better of the two for now. At least until Micheal Eisner dies...

disney is not just a kiddy park. Its a family park. Where people of all ages, hights, and statures can come to have fun. The midgets, the overweight, the 2 year olds, the 16 year olds, the 40 year olds, the 60 year olds, ect. This is why DIsney has been kicking ass since its original park opened in 19something something.
Plus I go to Disney Land a LOT (usually at least twice a month, sometimes more) and I can tell you that the experience doesn't change its always the same and thats why its so great. It offers different kinds of rides then what US does, but its still sweet.

Well, Disney land was built in 1955, on a much smaller chunk of land, so they could'nt have done the things Disney World does. Remember, Disny didn't buy out all the surrounding land when he built disneyland (a mistake he admitted to), so a whole bunch of little, crappy motels started springing up, so they couldn't build resorts. That was before the whole mega hotel resort thing too.
