Well, this is the most fun I've ever had at Six Flags (at any amusement park for that matter)
First off, I went on Batman: The Ride
After that, we got the Flash Pass (if you have the money it is SO worth it)
With the flash pass, we went on Kingda Ka. We got front seat along with the seat behind it.
Afterwards, we went on El Toro. Twice. That was simply phenominal. What else can I say?
After El Toro, we hit up Medusa, Superman: Ultimate Flight, and Great American Scream Machine. Medusa and Superman: Ultimate Flight were both very good, but Great American Scream Machine HURT! I suggest not going on this ride if you are shorter than 5'6" tall. Superman was the better of the three.
After all this, we realized that we hadn't gone on Nitro yet. So we went over to Nitro and reserved the time with the FlashPass. The thing is, the lady monitering the FlashPass line wouldn't let us in. After Dippin Dots and a Jalepino and Cheese Pretzel, we eventually sneaked past her and into the ride. When we got off the ride, we were pretty impressed. We realized the FlashPass still showed that we were in line. So we went over to the lady and told her the FlashPass was ready, and she let us on! We were so cheap, but we got on Nitro twice in 10 minutes.
After Nitro, we sprinted over to Kingda Ka for the second-to-last ride of the day. The guy monitering the FlashPass line here was a moron too, and appearantly they weren't letting on FlashPass people! We waited about half an hour, then we made it onto the ride. I got front seat, and it was almost too intense for me. I got off with a headache, and I thought I was done for the day.
We then jogged over to El Toro, and got into the FlashPass line. After waiting about 10 minutes to get to the spot where the lady checked the FlashPasses, she told us that we had to wait another 45 minutes (which was complete BS) We had to leave in half an hour, so we couldn't wait that long. Sneaking past her would have resulted in ejection from the park (considering there were 2 security guards there at the time). So we just took her crap and left. This was not a very good way to end the day...but then we found something that cheered us up.
For the FrighFest (Six Flags' Halloween Festival) there were people dressed up like zombies carrying shovels and fake chainsaws. These people were chasing guests around the park. We found that pretty funny (at least I did). When we each got home it was past 11:00, and we figured that it was a good day spent.
As we were going home, we realized this: We rode 10 coasters rides, the ride length averaging about 1 min per ride. This means that out of the 9 and a half hours we spent at six flags, we only spent 10 minutes riding coasters! When one looks at it this way, it seems kind of depressing, yet still funny. 10 minutes having fun, 9 hours 20 minutes walking from coaster to coaster, getting snacks, and waiting in lines. (this nine hours isn't even including the drive there or back, whcich accounted for 3 and a half hours of our day)
