lol i like how the trains lack a side. Also, i belive this is made by Intamin, right? It see hypercoaster big time in this woodie. Overall, nice vid with great shots. Just wish there was a POV!

The only thing this coaster has going for it is the airtime on the first two hills, it's not great apart from that. This is the only woodie I have ever ridden, although it's hardly designed like many other woodies is it really. Anyway yeah, nice video [:)] Shame there is no POV, I do already have POV of it though so I guess I'm not actually bothered [:D]

Neat little video. Looks like it has some awesome airtime. One thing that makes me like this thing so much is how it has 2 major hills in the beginning where most just have 1 or even non.

these vids are gettin better I gotta say.

this one tho, I liked it, but it didn't have very many good angles mostly due to the fact that there aren't many angles to get

This was a nice vid. I also think it shows a lot of hypercoaster in it because of how the helix banking increases as it goes down.

That is what Intamin woodies are like... they wish that they were hypercoasters. There are no lateral g's at all, nothing but floater air (no ejector), and they feel way too controlled and tame to be considered an authentic wood experience.

cjd- Intamin woodies are all floater air? Everyone I've heard has said they have some insane ejector airtime. If it was floater airtime, then you wouldn't hear the upstops hitting the track so abruptly on hills. It's also obviously (from the sound) riding on upstops all the way over, meaning it's pulling -g's.

Hey Guys, thanx for the comments. Glad you liked the vid. SMer, I agree that there are too few angles, but I mainly went to the park to ride, and then just had fun editing this stuff. The ride itself isn't too confusing, so why make the vid like that? ;) I was going for what I enjoyed about it so much, which is just flyin' round a cloudy day above that empty field. As far as airtime goes, cjd have you ridden it? The bunny hills are really a bit weak, but those camelbacks are great, and so is the first drop. I LOVED the first drop, it offered better airtime from the rear car than Expedition Geforce does. The hills after it are a bit less strong, but more sustained, I think they're still ejector though (havin ridden silverstar, I have to know what floater air feels like...[;)]) I love the sound of the upstops, somehow reminds me of a crashing plane[:D]

Thanks for uploading it edge. Watch out for my Expedition Geforce/Superwirbel Vid coming soon, those who prefer having more angles will like that one better, I think...

So, thanx for the feedback!!

Pad

^Believe me... compared to the ejector air on a CCI woodie, the Intamin air is NOTHING.

The airtime on Intamin woodies is probably much more strong than on any CCI coaster. Just because on CCIs you actually lift off the seat doesn't mean it's pulling more negative gs.

Piff, you guys need to go ride Grand National, there's some true ejector air for you. If you catch the hill just at the wrong seat your legs push the restaints up so hard that your thigh will get trapped between the restraint and central divider bit on the seats...thats true airtime.

right..... From the looks of it Intamin has more negative forces in thier ride, probably to compensate for being stapled. But this ride looks great, so air timey goodness.
But CCI's are fun because your whole body can actually float on it, where as on intamin's your butt is the only thing that floats up. On my last couple of rides on Xcelerator, I also noticed that the seat belt does the main bulk of keeping you in, where as the t bar just keeps your leg to the floor. (yeah, I wasn't stapled the last time I went on Xcelerator, and I had a good inch or 2 on it!)

How did I know sharing this vid would cause a discusson of airtime on old/new rides? [;)]Colossos might mostly feel very controlled, but I had a very outrageous experience when riding it. I like to slide forward on my seat abit before they check the lapbars, so i can actually fly. On colossos' first drop's insane backseat air, I was somehow pushed forward and ended up almost lying on my knees with my head, and feeling the +4,3 verts on my back, I couldn't get up until we climbed the next hill, that was pretty crazy... Airtime felt so relieving after it [peakhill]

I cannot believe Pad used the "The Ecstasy of Gold" (Metallica's intro music) as the intro to this video and then cut it off ... geesh man, if you are gonna use it, go with it all! Either way, nice video clip for certain man ... thanks for sharing.

Sorry TJ. It seemed kinda hard for me too... but I wanted something short yet beautiful and promising for that sunset shot, and as I don't know any classical music, the best strings to get was Metallica [;)] anyway, thanks for the feedback...
