My urine was frothy in the toilet today. Then I flushed it and it died.

I didn't have to read many posts to know many more people on this site are extremely stupid( I didn't read even half of the first page)! I am a Christian and there is proof that the Bible is true. For example, the story of Joshua and the wall of Jehrico, theyn found the remains of the wall on an archeilogical dig.I hear they also found part of Noah's ark. Also something bigger than the Colorado River had to form the Grand Canyon.[^] You guys have got to go to church and read the Bible and figure out how stupid you are about this! Like I said, there is proof that all this is true.

there are thousands upon thousands of walls around the globe. pick an old one and say it's that one.

"I hear they also found part of Noah's ark."

no, a satellite found a formation on a mountain in turkey that resembled the shape of a boat. the turkish government wont allow anyone to attempt to go see it up close.

"Also something bigger than the Colorado River had to form the Grand Canyon."

the grand canyon follows the exact same path as the colerado river. and canyons (on a smaller scale) can be seen being created almost every time it rains. the colorado is a good sized river and given the rock types of the area, can easily carve out something so magnificent if you give it enough time.

note: for the sake of it, i'm also a christian.

Nope, not dead.

I saw the movie for the first time over this weekend and it was spectacular. It wasnt as graphic as I had hyped it up to be but some moments were incredibly...flinchy. The message is definatly there and I felt Mel did a great job of filling in the blanks of time where the Bible doesnt record. I also liked some of the interpretations that were used. It was very effective and I felt it was very well planned out.

@ Sports_Crackpot - calling people stupid and what they think stupid isnt what I could consider a very loving approach, do you?

Well Mr. Double Post made an intriguing point that made me ejaculate.

Secondly Noah's Ark is about the dumbest story I've ever heard. That thing must have been REALLY huge to fit every animal on earth on it! Then there's the problem of feeding them.

Another thing that makes no sense about it is how enough water was evaporated to suddenly make it rain down enough to cover the earth with twice as much water as before. So basically, clouds magically created water that didn't exist, and then all of this suddenly ebaporated away? I haven't heard anyone say that meteorology is the devil or anything, so I don't see how the story could possibly be true.

Ahh, using science to explain a miracle.

Heres one for ya. I was diagnosed with a blood mass that formed in my lower back. It was pushing against my stomach and it was hard for me to keep food down, but I did keep enough down to stay alive. I was told it would take no less than 2 months (or 8 weeks) for the mass to disolve even using medicine.

Periodically I went to the office to receive a CAT scan, which I hate. The first 2 times showed little to no difference, just some minor reduction in size. Mind you, this thing was as big as my fist and even though this was awhile ago (about 10 years) my fist in relation to my body size hasnt changed much. Still proportional.

Well, 2-3 weeks into the resting period I went back in. I had been feeling great and my family along with several other friends and people I didnt even know had started a prayer chain up for me. I went back in for my final CAT scan and to the doctors amazement, it was completely gone. They said that this was a first that either of them had seen and they had a combined 60+ years of experience.

Not only was it gone, but they said "there was no trace that one even existed - as if I had been completely healed" End quote.

Things happen all the time which science cannot even begin to put a finger on. Just because it cannot be explained through science doesnt mean its possible. I find it hard to believe that with so many miracles being performed daily that people are still hardened to the idea that its not just coincedence.

Wow, they found a magical wall that happened to be part of the Walls Of Jericho. Wow! What is the luck of finding a ruin of a wall, hold on let me go outside for a minute....Holy christ, i just saw a ruined wall in a field, must also be part of the walls or Jericho. Also, Noah Ark....story is just stupid. As Coolbeans said, every animal one Earth put into a single boat. Wow, we must be looking at a boat the size of England itself. I also find i amazing how he managed to maintain a suitable enviroment for the animals to stay alive for 40 days on a boat run by a couple of people. I'm sure a polar bear could easily co-exsist with a Thorny Lizard living in the same enviroment. Also, what did Noah feed the Predators on the boat. Its not like he could just chop up a Zebra and give it to a Lion for dinner. One thing is for certain, this Noah was one hell of a guy. If the story is true, he managed to pull off a greater miracle than that wannabe Jesus ever did

Then why do they teach Biology at school then? And it seems really funny to me that people are trying to put "intelligent design" in the schools. I will say I have a religion, but I really do depend on science to explain most things. Maybe a superior being created life and maybe it just evolved or maybe it was both. No one knows. You can't really claim your idea is right with no proof.

Noah's Ark, maybe it happened, maybe it didn't. Who knows, maybe the bible really is partly all made up as the fictionous story, "The Da Vinci Code implies," although it is ficticious reading it does explain how we all could be fooled, but it doesn't mean I lose my faith just because a book showed how it could all be partly made up.

yea the Da Vinci code...its a good story lol but thats about as far as you can go with it. that goes for a lot of things today like harry potter. some parents criticize it because it teaches magic to children when parents should realize that what its doing is telling a story about trimumph over evil and the plot happens to have magic in it. To think that what the author is implying that magic exists is nonsense.
