Well, you won't catch me in Disney any time soon. Maybe when I'm married and have kids or something.

Universal, Disney mostly has more variety, but most rides are family rides...

Yeah, when your going on some of the rides, your just blown away in how great it is. SOme of the rides I don't think even universal would want to pay to keep maintained and operating. Specifically what I'm thinking is Indiana Jones. With all the fire explosions and special effects, just having that thing run without all the employee expenses, must be real expensive. And then just maintaining it! Geez! Also, Disney doesn't have as many rules as say Cedar Fair parks, (IE they allow you to bring cameras onto rides where it won't disrupt the experience for other people.) And they have great theming and extremely tidy parks. The only people who say disney sucks are the people who have never been to any of the parks.

don't forget about Coaster [:)]
But people fail to realize that what disney lacks in "thrills" they make up for in innovation and creativity. It might not be your S:ROS but it still is as fun as hell.
And on top of that, Disney does offer quite of bit of thrilling rides. They just don't offer rides that require a taller hight limit, like a B&M. they offer rides like mission space, space mountain, indiana jones, and Tower of Terror, and California Scream, ect. ALthough a lot of those are at different parks, they often have the same idea going for each of thier parks. Although it might not be that ride specifically.

Imo universal is more like Disney with thrills. It still has lots of theming and special rides. Only with a bigger thrill factor. Also the magical from Disney is transferred into exitement and thrills. Some of you disney freaks downrate because universal doesn't theme THAT big like disney does. Universal does do theming, that's for sure. Only a little less then disney.
But i could be wrong, i haven't seen the american disney and universal parks. I'm just talking about the universal and disney inside europe (port aventura & disneyland paris)

I admit I like Disney, I just don't like how it is being run lately. I mean they have great rides and the park is sure as hell clean. The problem I have are rides like the Monsters Inc. ride they are putting in, The Finding Nemo ride they replaced with the Atlantis ride concept, and the most confusing ride which has no plot, and what makes you feel high afterwards, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride.

What I want to see from Disney are some more original rides, instead of basing them all on there movies, or a third parties movie/TV show. I want to see original concepts that are applied well, and fit into the park. I can tell you right now, that the Finding Nemo ride isn't going to fit well in Tomorrowland. I want to see more orginal concepts like The Matterhorn, or The Pirates of the Carribean. Notice how Disney's most popular rides(Discluding Peter Pan) are based off of the visions of Tommorow, the excitement of Adventure, and the challenges of the Frontier. Very few of there best rides are based on their movies. The only exceptions I can think off are Peter Pan, Splash Mountain, and the Story Book Adventure Cruise. If Disney just had more innovative people, then I'm sure it could easily retake the top spot again.
