^And that really does make perfect sense too. Chains have no high pressure tubing, no launch catapult, no pulleys, and no magnetic breaks that can fail. Pretty much the only thing you have to worry about with a chain is keeping it lubed up so it doesn't scrape or drag. And that's not too hard to do.
Don't forget about the motor that runs the train. Just like anything mechanical, if its not properly maintained, it can fail. But knowing HW, that should not be a problem.
