Iron Forrest (hyyyper's challenge)

Well, since hyyyper posted some contest suggestions i started to work on the last suggestion:

the "formula-1-speed-test" contest: you get a launch of 96.54kph (60mph) into an optional tophat, after that there will be a height limit of 15 meters and the speed may no go lower than 40 kph untill the final brakes...

So here are some ride stats so far:
- No tophat (everything is under 15meters)
- 60mph launch
- High forces, first turn currently 5.8 but trying to convert it to 5.5 (but the duration still makes the track a realistic track.)
- Airtime
- 920 meters track (3018,37ft)
- 2 train operation (one train currently on the screens.)
- 7 cars per train
- 28 people per train
- duration: 1:15 from start till stop in station
- capicity: 2688 people per hour

cool, would be nice if you could even make a track with the tunnelmaker

wow this looks like alot of fun, and the its coll how theres gunna be airtime considering how compact this coaster is. Cant wait Dirk, and if you are looking for testers, let me know.

haha sure, i was jw. I decided to try the backyard coaster. 100m by 25 m is wicked small, but im trying a oldstyle woodie. Its exactly 25m tall like hyyyper allowed, an di hope it wont take too long. Ill post pics soon. Cant wait to see what this is like.

Imo the backyard was too easy. This was way more a challenge to me. Build a fast coaster with a hight restriction [:)] I'm just feeling like Intamin who had to design Rita for Alton Towers [:D]

then i guess you don't know how dutch friendship are, well i can't say there's a friendship, i only know dirk tru this site, but it comes down that the dutch call names and insult each other as many times possible and still are best friends, that why my opinions might a little harsh sometimes and i never listen to tconwell

personally i don't call 100m by 25m compact [;)] at least half the size is compact! [;)] (50m - 25m)

I'm really busy with tunneltesting now and yes, almost no hits. Only tons of close-calls [:D]

don't worry, it's pretty smooth [:)]

Let's see, what have i done so far:

- track finished
- Support work finished
- Trees added
- Tunneltested (passed)
- 2 train operation installed
- Added correct station departure timing
- type this update [:D]

what do you mean? Create a custom environment? Nah, i can't do that. Too much graphics works [:D]
