Arghh.. the f***** template doesn't work for me. I can never download anything successfully on this site. Wait.. do we even need the template? [?]

post your email adres and i'll send you

and yeah, you do need the template, it has the boundries for the track and station, which increases difficulty
hey HYYYPER here.. it's drew_royal12@hotmail.com

template sent

EDIT: btw, another question cjd, will get more points for more inversions or doesn't it matter if you have 11 or 31 inversions?

What if our custom inversion is a combination of different elements in a new way? Would we be counted off it look like 3 barrel rolls or somthing?

different element making one or more inversions is ok, just save your element and send it to cjd for checking

and for a triple barrelrol, only two inversions of one kind allowed

Hmmm i have this new inversion, which is the first drop. Its like a barrel roll which suddenly flips over when upsdie down so the cars are facing 90 degrees vertical, and then they drop 200 foot, twist 90 degrees around and pull out. BUT! Im struggling with controlling the Gs. Would it matter if my ride went up to 5.2gs? I know i would get points taken off, but i wouldnt get disqualified would i?

jpecool, 1/2 of a point to 1 point off technical depending on the severity of the high g's, but no disqualifications for them (mentioned in the rules). Any other infraction will result in disqualification, however. This is just because high g's are uncomfortable for the riders, but they are (usually) not lethal, and having higher g's do not make it unfair for the other contestants like going out of bounds or passing the max height and length would.

gazag, all I'm saying is that the primary judging factor will be how originally the 11-inversions sequence is constructed. Try do be unique and original.

gazag, scenery is always optional. If you think it could help sell the idea, go for it, but the coaster is really what matters.

hyyyper, no bonus points for extra inversions unless the added inversions make the coaster more original and thrilling.

for air time, I suggest that you make it to 1.5 as I can name several rides that have at least that much. Xcelerator & Storm Runner.

^ But then i could say make the positive Gs go to 5 because lots of rides have that much! Its the limit dude, i dont think he will change it, but they are pretty annoying limits. [:(][lol]

limit has to be set, and how higher (or lower) the limit is, the better and harder and more fun a contest is

^Xcelerator and Storm Runner are not inverted coasters. And even though they do have strong ejector air, it is really only about -1 at the most. On inverts, negative g's are MUCH more uncomfortable, even though they are completely acceptable on rockets. The g force limits are just there to keep the riders comfortable... nothing more. Also, this is not a very challenging template, so you have plenty of room to make them work.

Meh, I'm out too, I have other ideas I need to work right now, I am wondering how exactly you made the template?

Did you measure the grass area or something?
