On most SLC's the photo is took just before the Sidewinder element.

Does anyone know if there is a SLC with the camera in a different position.

(sorry for spamming but its just one of them things i need to know)

I doubt there would be a Ride opertunity any where else because they would want it to be at a good time where you're having fun, but at the same time, they need to have it lower to the ground so they can set up all those camereas with out it ruining the sky line.

Well, I know the SLC at SFEG has the camera in a different position. The camera is right before the immelman in a trench.

Well, I always thought the sidewinder was the first element with two inversions.

And for Coastercrazy, there is a camera on Mind Eraser at SFEG.

Well, I can see that, but Vekoma always comes up with these weird names for their elements. Like the first pair of inversions on an SLC is called a Double In-Line Twist. And when I looked that up, I saw that the immelman is called a sidewinder, but I didn't know that until today.

Dont call the element by the name the manufacturer gives it unless its 100% unique like Storm Runners Flying Snake dive.

You will end up confusing not only us, but yourself!

I like to stray from names like sidewinder. Its not descriptive enough. Immelman is. If you know what the fighter pilot maneuver was, then you know instantly what the manuever must resemble. I stick to the basics. Just makes it easier.

Immelman
Dive Loop
Loop
Helix (NOT horizontal Loop...dang Euro's)
Wingover (for inverts)
Flatspin (for sitdowns)
Zero G Roll (not a heartline)
Heartline Roll (non-parabolic)
Cobra Roll
Sea Serpent
Top Hat
Airtime Hill (camel back is ok...but airtime sounds better :P)
Batwing
Butterfly

Theres more, but none of those IMO are interchangable.

^Ok then, thanks for clearing that up. Now I will never missname an inversion again. I guess in a perfect world that every coaster company would give the same name to every inversion that they do, but it's not a perfect world.
