DC and Real, you are way out of your league. Surely I am the supreme overlord when it comes to building Wood.[:)] not that I have any credentials, though[lol]

YAY, i was mentioned once by Coasterkrazy!!! Thanks.

My personal favourites are The twister series by Bobcoaster, Ferocious by growithgravity (why has no one mentioned that yet?), Fuel by Edge, Fear factor by MF2001, Revere Beach cyclone 2004 by Steve Benham, Desteny by Jan, The rover by McFly, Reals outlaw, Hansixx' Ganja, Hansixx' Ionizer, Hansixx' Project Strata force, and finally dcs221s Countach! [:D] all good rides IMO, with the twister rides being my favourite.

The only wood you are building with the self-flattering comments regarding credentials is 1.5 feet or so below your chin line. [lol]

bobcoaster's twist'r more is defineatly #1... there might be tecnicaly better coasters out there, with neato 3d's, heartlined tracks and loop dee loops, but bobs coasters represent the coaster side of the sim rather than the computer side this ride uses no limits to simulate a rollerecoaster experience in the most realistic way possible.. ... some of the other rides mentioned here relied on computer skills and most of the time this ends up being a ride that runs in the sim just dandy, the program might even give it a "10"if it could, but doesn't seem very realistic,as if the creator was playing a video game and trying to get a high score based on the computer program's parameters.. or (i'm ducking against blows here, i know) astheticaly pleasing.. bob's rides consistently represent no limits from a coaster lover's point of veiw better than most other's... trackwalker and steve benham's rides also reflect a real life point of veiw while using no limits, and stand out far above the others. ...
here's the rest of my top 5, in no particular order
2. steve benham's revere beach cyclone

3. a ride called falcon, by a member who goes by another name on another site that starts with g.
4.jp cool's calamity
5.trackwalker's serpente del fuego(motana rusa al feria chapultapec)
there's lots of other rides that i can't think of right now..
edge and real have always posted pretty awesome rides, and i've probabaly overlooked rides that were technicaly better than these, but these 5 stand out, as my personal favorites.. different strokes for different folks i guess.

Most Realistic Coaster Award, Greatest NL Coaster Award, Greatest Theming NL Award all go to phyter's Thunderhead Falls. GREASTEST NL coaster I have seen yet.

shows how much Scenery decieves people. Im not saying this is a good example, because thunderhead falls is a very nice coaster by itself. But theming just completely flatters people way to much sometimes.

You can make a ride with REALLY bad trackwork, a terrible layout, and terrible adrenaline a 9 if put enough 3Ds around it.

I would say that Crystal Beach Mouse is also one of the most amazing rides I have ever seen, but only beacuse of one really amazing 150-ft. drop that just seems like it will never end, and it has headchoppers all the way down!

When ever I rate I always ride with the 3ds, supports and all that, then I delete everything but the coaster and Thunderhead Falls is the most realistic mine train I have seen on NL, and the 3ds pus it over the top, the amount of time he put into them was all worth it. Phyter spent over 7 months on Thunderhead Falls building the track and 3ds.

My favorites are Thalys & Ganja from Hanssix and Thunderhead Falls. Smooth, creative and stunning tracks!

I am quite honestly shocked that no-one has submitted these two yet:

Gaia

Colder Fusion

And now a couple others:

Anaconda

Windigo

Evenoss

Breaking point

Perhaps because they weren't made yet four years ago?

Gaia is the best coaster ever! Not only the theming is really good, the coaster is phenomenal!
