Wow...I think Vekoma should just settle down for a while so that it's riders can get some massage therapy or something. Last time I went on one of those designs (Mind Eraser, SFNE, Kong, SFMW) it resulted in some unpleasant sores to the head, shoulders, and arms...But! Then again, it is Vekoma's reputation to be whip up some hazardous rides, so, I blame myself for stepping aboard those roller coasters.

I don't understand why loads of people in the coaster community think that SLCs are ripoffs, and violent. I never hit my head or injured myself of the ones I have ridden. Serial Thriller at what was Astroworld is an example. I always loved it, but the line was always like 45 to 60 mins. long. I'm not trying to bbe flamed here, but I think SLCs are decent rides.

as do i, they are one of the best designed coaster around, there are alot better but also alot worse, dont forget that since being moved from southport it has been give a complete restore to new condition and not only that but this is vekoma, the new stuff from vekoma is getting forwared to B&M standereds. they have been investing in alot of tecnology and since this was sent back to vekoma before being delivered to BPB im shure it would of been throught some other changes too. never stereo type rides especially the SLC'c of any kind

I loved Kong at SFMW (I didn't get any pain from that), but Mind Eraser was a different story. I was really hurting after that one.

I'm also fed up with the constant "vekoma are sh!t" nonsense.

I've been on 3 SLC's... all different models. Which is quite amusing i guess.

Fact is though, when coasters get cloned - it's because they are sucessful. It doesn't make them bad. Traumy (now Infusion) was fine. I had a headache a little after, but i get a worse headache after riding Colossucks. There are far more violent, rougher, and boring-er coasters out there. I ratehr like the common SLC layout.
