Well, since I am stuck in So California tomorrow with nothing to do, I thought I might go to Knott's or SFMM. So, what is the place like? It is worth going? Feedback is needed today!!!!

GO TO SFMM! IT IS SO GREAT THERE! YOU WILL TOTALLY NOT REGRET IT! it is TOTALLY worth it. ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIKE ROLLERCOASTERS!!!!

Well, Knotts is obviously a smaller park and Silver Bullet, Ghostrider and Xcelerator are definitely worth multiple rides during the night and day. It's CF which means it's pretty clean.

SFMM is a larger park with more coasters, but many of them don't run and the woodies as you know are mediocre. I would say go to Knotts because it's cleaner, has better coasters and there is Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant.

Uhmmm, "many of them are not running"??? How about no scott. SFMM has alot better reliability than most people think. I was at Knotts a couple days ago and Ghostrider and SB were both closed....

Tcon- Youve accually gotta go to knotts because SFMM is only open weekends. [;)]

I agree with Woodie Man. Knotts was supurb when i went. Clean, and the service was great. The coasters were wonderful that they had and the Jag was actually pretty cool

Knotts, as SFMM is closed tomarrow.[lol] I might actually be going myself with another friend so it woule be cool just to meet you, we can exchange insults, and then be on our way again. Or we could have a friendly conversation, which ever works best. [lol] But who knows, Hopefully if you go to knotts, Silver Bullet will be open, but I'm not sure about Ghost Rider.

I wouldn't even give them the satisfaction of calling them mediocre. They're crap. nothing special about them other than thier unnatural ability to cause pain.

Well, I wouldn't exactly call Ghostrider a classic, as it was built in 98 (don't quote me, i don't feel like checkin'). On TPR, they tend to rip on Knotts alot for their keen ability to stack trains and not have many closed at the same time. But you're more of a woodie guy, and well, SFMM's pretty much suck, so I guess try knott's. [:)]

OK, try to stay on topic ...

For those in the area, I think I will go to Knotts ... shall we try to set a time? I am traveling alone so being able to meet some folks to ride coasters is always better than hanging out alone. Thoughts?

Why would I want to be like your mom? Geesh man ... how tragic your life must be to want me to share in the miserable existences of your family.

Hey my dad went there too you know. Mothers aren't the only ones that run the family and urinate in flaming trashcans.

WEll, I'm probably going to knotts with my friend Immel_Man from ACN/TPR at around 4:30 - 7 so if your still there I can just meet up. I'm still not 100% sure I'll be going though, so you can set a time around ther at like 5 if I'm not there in 10 minutes then you just wasted 10 minutes which shouldn't be a problem at all since the park will be dead.

OK, nevermind the PM I sent ya Slap, I'll be there about 10:30-11 ... the cell number is the same. SFMM, I'll send ya my cell in case you change your mind. LOL

Update -- Headed out now (it is about 7:00 am) -- gotta try to get some kind of a jump on the traffic headed towards to LA. [LOL] For those that may go and I have not talked to, I am in a red Alabama Crimson Tide t-shirt and jeans, short hair - and will be seen in the vicinity of steel and wood. Cheers.

And oh yeah, a Trip Report will follow.
