ok, done checking your pm box. your inbox is empty and your outbox has one pm sent and read to by the person you sent it to. Let me know if these pm's show up again, don't delete them, I want to see them.

As a casual guess, he viewed the list of his PMs after seeing the popup, which intuitively would clear the "You have xx new messages" thingy, but doesn't. You have to actually VIEW the PMs.

It's still doing it. Everytime I return to the home page (or a forum page) I get a pop up message "you have received a new PM from CodyL14" I read that hours ago, deleted it, and yet it still keeps appearing in my inbox! odd...

^Hyyyper, I think it's the exact same message. But I may be mistaken. I'm sure someone can fix his problem.

Yeh it's the same message, I know he knows I've read it, as I responded to his request and he has sent me new pm's since (which don't repeat) maybe it's because he posted a hyperlink??

Well, if it is a hyperlink do you need someone to send you a test message to check that? I will do it if you would like to test.

hmmm. The message only appears in my inbox if I actually click the coaster messager popup. If I click private messages (under edit profile) it dosen't appear.. maybe this will solve itself.. hope so it's driving me nuts! [lol]

this is a simple case of chaching. It's caching the page as it first happened and simply not updating it when you you do go to the home page. Hit a control plus refresh and that'll fix it.
