Is there a way?

Ok, so I have a huge collection of techno/dance/trance/club music I would like to put into I few megamixes. The problem iTunes has that annoying codec in their songs. [xx(] Is there any freeware out there that will let me put these songs into my other programs like audacity and fruity loops? Any help would be appreciated.

Are you saying they are M4a's... I dont let Itunes rip my music like that anymore, just go into your itunes settings and have it rip your songs as mp4 and it shouldnt be a problem.
