lol, it has been known for a little bit now that it would be a 3rd 90 degree banked turn. Sounds neat though.

There has also been talk about a plexiglass window on the tunnel near the station?

That new seat divider also looks worse than the old ones :/

Its not like 90 degree banked turns are standard issue on coasters now-a-days or anything. Its plenty thrilling, besides, what were you hoping for? A loop, a corkscrew?

That's 3 times as many overbanked turns as any other wood coaster, so it's not like you're being deprived...

I've ridden Hades, and the 90 degree banked turn adds absolutely NO thrill at all to the ride. The airtime though was some of the best on any coaster I've ever ridden, by a large factor, so I don't think anybody will really be thinking "that 90 degree banked turn was a blast!" when the train hits the brakes.

That seat divider might be uncomfortable, but we will see when we get the first TR from Holiday World after someone's ridden Voyage.

I think we've long since established that the 90 degree turns are just an advertising gimmick to get the general public excited... and it is working so far. I've told a few of my non-enthusiast co-workers about the coaster, and they said "wow, it banks all the way on its side?"

So, the GP can have their 90 degree banked turns and giant drops while we savor the innumerable other incredible features that will make The Voyage truly sensational. Everybody wins with this coaster.

However, I think the back to back 90 degree turns will be a sweet combo. One by itself doesnt do much but back to back will provide a nice swooping motion.

Yeah, and based off of the shapes of these 90 degree banks, compared to Hades, I'd say there will be more lats on it like Avalanche, but thats just a guess. I don't want IF to shoot me if I'm wrong.[flush]

In Hades, your in a tunnel...and its pitch black...

Being back to back will be amazing!

I'm not sure who else is going, I'm going the first Tuesday its open. Maybe I'll be the first to report it on this site! Great accomplishment huh? [:p]

When the track is banked over completely you can see the 90 degree banking due to the light at the end of the tunnel when on the train. The only part of the turn that's in complete darkness is most of the banking into it.

Yes, but here there are 3 that are in full light. I'm sure you won't feel much out of it since it appears heartlined, but I wouldn't compare it to Hades's. (way too many s's in that name! ssssssss...) ;P
