Maybe I assumed too much but with all the ads on tv for cars and their engines, I somewhat assumed that most people know what a V8 is.

So it says all paper with the exception of a FEW parts... so like the cumbustion chamber and intake manifolds are made out of paper or metal?

Then again, it dosen't have gas going to it, so it dosen't matter.

Anyway, it looks cool, but pretty pointless... instead of buuilding an exsiting engine, why don't they make a entirly new type of engine that has no pollution at all and dosen't use gas.

Because it was a model. People build models all the time.

How can you be so stupid? You probably own a V8 car. There are eight cylinders arranged in a "V" pattern to maximize space.

Note that this is NOT a functional engine. It's just some paper hooked up to a small electric motor to actually spin the thing.

Unless you count the battery and parts as the "fully functional".

Obviously its not going to be a REAL gas-combustion enginer Thorazine ;)

that's one of the coolest things i've seen in a while... i laughed when i saw that it was fully functional.. which of course it isn't... paper will not hold up to the variables that make an internal combustion engine work, also paper does not conduct electricity, so an ignition system would be a pain what with no common ground. if you wanna build an engine just buy a second hand lawnmower and tear up the motor...it takes me about 1/2 hour to build one, and they actually work...
