Is it just me, or are refills for razors some of the most over priced consumer products out there on the shelves?

I use a Gillete Mach 3, and I do think their razors are pretty good, much better than any other razor I have tried, but do I really think refills for it are worth $15? Hell no.
$15 dollars for a few grams of metal and plastic...rediculous!

Amen! Preach it brotha! I use the same razor and I agree...refills are RIDICULOUS. Especially when an entire razor with 2 blades costs only 7 bucks.

So, why don't you just buy a new razor each time if it's less than the refills. Just an idea there guys.

Because then you just end up with a bunch of worthless handles and less blades

Well, its probably not it just seems crazy that they get 15 bucks for like 8 razors or something. Its like 2 bucks a pop.

And if your stubble is really coarse like mine, you wear the things out a bit faster than youd like and most Electric ones just dont shave close enough. And seeing as though my girl really only likes to get close when its nice and smooth, theres alot of incentive to make sure its really nice and smooth. So when you have that on the line, it makes the difference.

Shaving doesn't make your hair grow any faster (this is just a myth), it's just that you notice it more.

Whats worse is that there is probaly only 1 penny (or cents) worth of material going into those razors

For looks yes. But when it comes to getting close, when you start becoming an exfoliating pad it will hurt. Unless shes into that masochist thing.

I use mach 3 also, i shave 1 - 2 times a week. The only problem with it is if you have any zits it cuts it up so bad, and then you gotta clean them off or else more will spring up.[V]

Nope, she's just into very thin stubbles. She dosen't mind it to much, the biggest problem we have is my chin hair gets caught up and ensared in her hair on her head, but other than that it's all good. And I don't have to spend money on razor blades, I use an electric trimmer! HA!

^^ I have an electric one too but I havent found a rotary one (hate the sliding variety) that cuts charp enough and close enough yet and Im NOT willing to spend 200 bucks on one of the high class ones. thats ridiculous Ill spend the 200 on a coaster trip thank you very much.

Yea, that happens with my girl too. But thats not so much a problem as when I dont shave for awhile and she goes to kiss me and then gets razed by stubble. So, if I want lovin, I gotta shave. :P

Its ok, I cant pull off that "stubble - unkept" look very well. Im more of a clean cut man.

Yeah make sure you have experience if you plan on balding you "happy place" because otherwise it'll be a "not-so-happy place-that-happens-to-be-bleeding".
