Black Mamba

This coaster will probably be very good, but I think people are overhyping it.

The first coaster that signified B&M's new style was Silver Bullet. People overhyped that, and had a reason to, as every coaster B&M designed up to that point was forceful and intense. What did it turn out to be? A slow, overengineered invert. And yes, I'm sure it's a fun ride. Then, when the construction of Hydra began, everyone started raving about it like it would be the best floorless B&M has ever done; original layout, small (thus better pacing), unique profiling, etc... but it turned out to be just the same as Silver Bullet. Now, this process is just repeating itself with this coaster.

B&M HAS changed their style. This will NOT be another Nemesis. It will NOT be as legendary as Nemesis. And it is definitely not designed the same way as Nemesis.

BTW: Since I personally have not yet had the chance of riding it in it's final appearance, I refuse to have any opinion about it's quality. Since you obviously already know better, I will expect you not to ride it in the future, so there's one less person waiting in the queue-line. Great! [:D]

i agree with you redunzelizer, even though we know already the layout. you still can't judge the experience of the ride.

But IF, how the hell can you compare silver bullet with black mamba? Silver bullet, no theming, no trenches where you'll fly though.
If you look at art works and current construction: Huge trenches, tons of theming, close objects. Tight helix [:D] Imo resulting way better then silver bullet...

Imo, this ride is gonna fly though the whole layout. Anyway, can't wait! [:D][pshades]

Perhaps you should read the post your quoting next time. If you have, you would've seen that I said "This coaster will probably be very good", which means if I had an opportunity to ride this coaster, I would gladly take it. The closest thing I said about the ride's quality was "I think people are overhyping it". I'm simply saying this isn't B&M's return to their roots, it's a completely different coaster than Nemesis, and you don't have to ride the coaster to see that.

Even though you have argued with what IF said redunzelizer, i have to agree with part of what he said. I do think this ride looks absolutely stunning, and it WILL be very forceful as phantasialand requested it to be. BUT i agree with IF when he says "it is definitely not designed the same way as Nemesis." It is very different to nemesis. Yes this is a terrain invert, yes its forceful, and its likely that it will be rated as one oif the top coasters in Germany, behind EGF. But it doesnt have the totally strange unique layout, where every single part is different to a normal invert layout, like nemesis has. It was built when B&M were becoming the best in the business, and nemesis was one coaster that really said, "this is what we can do". Nemesis is unique, and there will never be one like it, unless someone clones it. Im thinking this isnt as unique as nemesis, because the layout is more typically B&M and everyone is comparing it to nemesis, so this isnt original. Also B&M at the moment, have been over enginnering their rides, making them absolutely perfect. Thats te thing about nemesis, it isnt perfect, a first drop shouldnt be only 49foot on a ride on that scale. Should it? Its a totally different design when you think about it, and i hope that they remain different but great rides, with only a few similarities.

Nemesis is my favourite coaster ever, and i have ridden it countless times since i was 8 or 9 years old. Im expecting Black mamba to be good, but different from nemesis.
