has anyone noticed the update on rcdb for Fuji-Q Highland's new coaster? it says that they have confirmed that it will be a 4-D, and some footers have been placed.

Well, those are certainly steel support footings going in, so we know it will be that style coaster. It won't be a Thrust Air, they already got one of those. But, the 4-D possibility is small. No telling what exactly this will be until more pics.

Those footers look pretty big in some places, so i think we can expect this coaster to be quite large. BTW this coaster was announced on the site a few months back and people were speculating then whether it was 4d. RCDB must have a bit of evidence then to put it as a 4D, as othersie they would normally put unknown. So it isnt confirmed, but is probably most likely.

I'm guessing it will be a 4D, those footers look fairly large, and well, X's footers are Xtremely large, but SFMM is also the Xtrememe Park so they need everything big. I'm hoping this will be a 4D as I'm planning on a trip to Japan for 07, assuming the site whose putting it on doesn't change destinations.[:)]

I would be so happy to use another 4d, just to acknowledge that the coaster type hasnt been forgotten. I hope the S@S version comes out a little more reliable than X

They've been doing some redesigning I've heard, hopefully the person who did the Dodonpa trackwork won't do this ones.

Neither Fuji-Q Highland or S&S Power have officially announced that this ride will be of "4th Dimension" design

It hasnt been confirmed, just speculated

Yeah, they want to keep it a total secret until the track starts going up. Then they figure the coaster nuts will find out the maker of the track.
