another question:
is there a program for getting perfect supports on no limts: including all the little rings on the supports or do people do that by hand??? must be a lot of work by hand?
all these questions i'm asking are going towards my project
EXPEDITION GEFORCE @ Holiday Park, ma favorite coaster.

thanks
John

You have to put in all the tubes by hand, then if you want you can use the auto flanger on them to get the rings. I don't believe the flanger is on the web anymore because CoasterCandy is down. You may have to get it from someone else.

no its done by programs such as Construction Kit, or buster's program, their called flanges, they do add a nice touch to the supports. Go to www.gravitmetricstudios.com or just look on www.candycoasters.com if it still exists lol.

It actually can't be gotten anywhere anymore. CoasterCandy is down, and the autoflanger only comes with the basic registration of the construction Kit, which isn't being sold anymore. I'd suggest you take Woodie Man's advice, and PM someone who's got it and ask for them to send it to you in an email.

I have a question about the flanges. Can you copy and paste them on to the track or can you type in parameters of how the flanges will be?

One click that quick. No settings or anything, just click a button that says "Flange Track".

The only downside to flanging is that it changes any special track styles such as the different tube numbers for Intamin track. And on an AHGed track, it's a pain to go select the segments and change them. But I think flanging is worth the extra work.

You can just get in top view, then drag that yellow box over the track you want to correct the tubing on, once those segements turn white go to the segment setting box and select the tube type and it changes all the segments.

I know you can do that, but you can't do it when the track has a gradient with the color.

I have the program and I paid the fee for the registered version to have those flanges on my coasters plus a few others... however, I ended up emailing Jennifer about getting my reg. info so I can reactivate my original software I paid for since I dont have that info anymore, hope she still has it online somewhere, I'll let ya know!.

WRONK! While the initial websites are indeed down, RiscIt from NLDC was so kind to re-publish all of the "historic" tools on his site.
