Therefor, I'm asking if anyone else with good 3ds experience would like to volunteer to do it for me. It's not much, just a few tunnels, a station building and something to cover the switchtracks. Any help will be greatly appreciated. [;)]

If, by any chance this helps, you can try using and modifying the station I used in a ride, here: http://www.coastercrazy.com/track_exchang ... p?tid=8201 As for tunnels, try using tunnel maker, or did you want textures for it? I can't texture map very well so I can't do the tunnels.

The tunnels do need textures, that's the main problem. I also only have the unregistered version of the oc (I'd buy the full one but it's not for sale anymore) so I can only have 10 brushes.
Sorry, that track doesn't really help me much, I'm going for more of a futuristic look.

Since no-one replied, I'll just have to go without 3ds. I'll probably do what I've done on my other rides, and cover the station with supports. It'll completely kill the fps, but oh well. I'll do paths and maybe some signs, but that's about it. I'm hoping to upload 1st Jan.

i think you should write an article/tutorial on how to fade the track with construction kit
i've tried so many ways and i havn't gotten anything

but this is looking so great--if i could build 3ds i would for this, but i can't

Thanks for the offer, CK, but it doesn't really match with my track at all, and it has loads of stuff on it which I don't want.

Okay, i dont want to sound soft and i know a couple of weeks ago on this site i finally said i was going to stop making 3ds for people, but since you have no one else i will do some if you want me too. Look at my tracks, i can do some 3ds work, using OC and anim8or with custom textures. Just get back to me through PM if you want me to do them. I will be able to do a custom station for you (i also did the vulcan one for CK and i did all the vulcan lettering and station gates seperate for exactly the reason that if we did no need them at one point, they could easily be removed without having to get rid of the whole station.) but ive nevr tried one for an invert, so it would be interesting. Anyway i will do some 3ds work if you want. [:)]

Wow those look really nice, is that train in the last picture the real train or a 3d train on a side rail?

While I'm waiting for jpecool to finish the 3ds, I thought I'd have a go at a custom environment. It's just a bit of light fog and custom wheels so far, but I might add more textures for things like the catwalks and rails. http://nldc.interfix.net/i9631 let me know what you think of the fog, or if it needs changing. I think it adds quite a bit, and gives it a better feel overall. Anyway, comments welcomed. [;)]

jpe's sent the final 3ds station now, so basically all I need to do is a clean-up job, getting rid of the supports through the 3ds, organising all the folders, etc. I've also got to do my own Q lines, some siqns, and finish off some other things. I'll upload the final batch of screens either tomorrow or the day after, and hopefully I'll upload the final Ultrasonic next sunday. [:D]

Final screenshots have been posted. I might change a few small details, but this is basically more or less what it will look like.

Also, a question to anyone who knows how to use Anim8or, how would you put a texture onto a 3ds object that you import? what I want to do is put a smooth fading texture onto the different pieces of supports, but I can't figure out how to load the texture and apply it to the whole object. Anyone know how?
