It has a 418ft Drop - probably just some confusion on the part of the editors not knowing the height differs from the drop.

Yea I noticed that too. That makes it between the Observation Wheel and Hospital, as long as they are right.

Ya it must be a mix up because I just re-read it and it said 418 off the ground

I think the folks at Guinness have been drinking too much of the Guinness again. I'd go with 456 because after working two and a half seasons where TTD is, we all know that number way too well. Hey, they let me go, so I can admit that Kingda Ka is bigger, faster, and has much better restraints!

You know, it really makes no difference. When your covering that much ground in that amount of time, 418 is the same as 456. I didn't notice much height difference between Titan and Raging Bull. If us coaster nuts notice that, I wonder how many other flaws there are. People on some engineering forum are all "the tallest monutment is 655' not 630'." BTW, thats totally not true. [^]

King da ka is 456ft and the drop is 418ft so it is the tallest and fastest coaster on the plant I have also seen that in the guness world records 06 book I think that they are talking about the drop not the real hight of the coaster it is 456ft tall I know this becuse it says it in my map of six flags great avtere rcdb also says that the ride is 28 sceounds long and goes 128mph in 3.2 scounds I think that the gforge on king da ka is relly high at the lunch of the ride I watched it when it was testing when I was at the park over the summer and it goes relly fast I don'nt think that I whould like to go that fast on a rollercoaster becuse there is nothing around you but the headrest and the over the shoulder restandts I don'nt think that it is worth a 5hour wate when there is other coasters in the park.
