I hope the immelman is reall tight at the top so its a real flick over, as i love it when the B&M inverts suddenly flip over, as its so disorientating, especially on a terrain coaster. Like the last wing over on nemesis which is in the ground right next to the unloading platform, flicks over so quick, and because you are under ground level even when upside down, its just so disorientating, especially on your first ride. I hope black mamba feels like this, as thats what makes nemesis. The heightened sense of speed when your not actually going that fast, the near misses, and the disorientation.

I prefered Collossus much more [:)] Nemesis inferno was still a good ride though, just not what i hoped it was going to be. Maybe its cos i rode that on my own though, so it might have taken away the fun. As when i ride oblivion on my own now, i dont actually get nervous at all, but when im with my mates, and i can see they are nervous, it gets me little excited (in a non sexual way) and makes me anticipate the drop more.

I totally agree with you, I found NI boring, all of it feels the same, while colossus is really wild and has a lot of variation...

first there's a loop with lots of Gs, then some great air-time, a disorienting cobraroll, really quick and intense corkscrews and finally slow heart-line-rolls with great hangtime... All the elements on NI feels the same, like you're being pushed onto your seat the same way throughout the whole ride[blah]

The link you mean is this:
http://themepark.nl/ubbthreads/showflat ... t=176&vc=1

Also, those heartline rolls would not be as fun if they werent linked together like they are. Seperatly they would be ok, but continuous is probably alot of fun and very disorienting.

That's how all B&M inverts feel. Well, all inverts pre-Silver Bullet at least.

I found Collosus rough and boring, while I enjoyed NI. It isn't as good as some of the other B&M inverteds out there, but I definiatly thought it was a good ride. I'm sure Collosus was a good ride when it opened, and the lay-out is very intresting, but I thought it was slow and uncomfortable.

BTW Black Mamba looks awesome. It looks cool coming out of the immelman directly in to a wing over[:)]

^ It depends what you like really. Colossus is disorientating yet slow (which is a weird combination) while NI is fast but not really disorientating at all. I love rides that are disorientating, hence i prefer colossus.

I think he means you never feel the forces of changing direction much. I found it never pushed you from side to side a little like the original nemesis does. Nemesis does push you everywhere when riding, NI doesnt, really different feelings.

Anywayyyyyyyyyyyy...........

Like X i also like the way Black mamba comes out of an immelman and straight into a wing over. On a typical B&M they wouldnt really go next to each other or at least they would be seperated by a MCBR. [:)] I love these types of B&Ms, the ones that are more original than all the rest. Theres a kind of buzz about every single original B&M ride ever made, like you just know, its B&M, its different, put the two together, its gotta be good! [:)] I must say B&M are my favourite steel company when they pull good rides off. Intamin are awesome, but IMO B&M are just slightly ahead with the occasional ride they make. [:)] Im still not convinced this is going to be the best coaster next year though, no matter how much i like the look of this, The voyage is just amazing!

Exactly. I'm also a disorient-fan and a variation-fan[:p]

The construction on Black Mamba has gone pretty slow lately, I've been waiting for months to finally see the heart-line-spin and immelman...

Aaaahhh really??? [xx(] So you missed all the other stuff? DUH!

Some track parts simply cannot be placed yet, due to more footers, supports, theming details, etc. having to be put in place before adding more track is even possible.

In case you'd judge progress by track placing only, you obviously don't give much attention to all the (pre-)required details or the overall picture as well, do you? [:p]

Never mind, there's always someone out there doing the thinking for ya' [:D]

Its a severely inclined immelman, which has made it a helix instead. But it will be very forceful, im almost sure of it.
