It looks better. BUT are you wanting to make this perfect? If you are then here goes:

http://nldc.interfix.net/i9252
-Banks a little early and is again at too much of an angle. Check out this photo: http://gallery.towersalmanac.com/displa ... m=30&pos=5 The drop needs to be a little steeper also. http://gallery.towersalmanac.com/displa ... 205&pos=13

http://nldc.interfix.net/i9253
- Thats better! Although, there still needs to be that funny downward movement after its flattened out a little once. I will try and find a photo. I have one on my comp, i just cant find it on the net.

BTW this might help
http://gallery.towersalmanac.com/displa ... 205&pos=11

P.S. CK im not fat [:p]

The colours look a bit too faded (at least the segments that aren't AHG colour coded). Try this R:130, G:30, B:37. I think it's quite close, but you might have to tweak it slightly to get it just right.

Ok alot of trackwork has been changed today and i have got up to the first brake run. You can sign up to test this new version of you want, but you cannon ride in the simul8r. Im not going thorugh all the trouble to get it to work when theres still many changes that i bet i will have to make. JPe i would really like you to test so you can tell me where to work on to make this thing as close as possible

ok big update today. I finally got to talk to JPE, and he supplied me with some photos. The changes i have made sence the last update is flatened out the first and third turns a little bit(the ones by each other), shaped the second turn like in photos, and some other little things. I got 7 new pics to show you all.The colors are a bit off but im working on them. Im in the process of setting up the ride for testers. N'joy!

First and Third Turns- http://nldc.interfix.net/i9268

Did you try the colours I posted earlier? I think they were quite close. Other than that, looks good. Are you planning on doing a cartexture? I think that would make it look much more realistic. I know you can't get it exactly right cuz the trains are shaped differently, but it would be better than nothing.

well i could download the rita font from towers almanac and place the words at the very bottom of the car. Then i could take the colsed headlights and place them on the bottom right corners. The problem for me is the flames. The colors you gave me were a bit off, i just need to make these a bit darker i think. Ill post more photos when the running version is done for now.

There are trains on Rita now. Actually the circuit is complete. I thank JPE for all the info, but still evry thing was done by me. I decided to move on with supports because with my skill level there is not much i can do. But to get some feed back anyways, i want 3 testers. Sign up here.
1.
2.
3.

Some pics- http://nldc.interfix.net/p1392

Change sence the pics up there is i made the launch and stations at an angle. (JPE's info once again lol). I used things he told me to work on the shaping and banking and if you have any problems with it.....um just dont...... something i dunno. lol. Aight so who wants to test?

The track is looking quite good now. Basically all i did was tell him how the ride felt and stuff and then gave him some pics. [:D]

For only having nolimits 2 months this track sure is smooth [:)] Good luck on supporting.

well i guess its too late but all the Uk and Europe guys could be gettin up soon, so ill post some new pics. Up to halfway down the first hill is supported, and from the back of the station all the way to the top of the dip before the brakes are done. From the screen down there i have made it a lighter brown and ive concluded that i'll continue building on level 3, but at the end i will have to make most of them 2. The color is better than b4, so disregard that. These pics are for the supports shape. The next support in the "dive" is a funky support that has 3 attachments to the track, so i ended the night there. You might not see any update after this, unless i get a wireless signal in my gp's house. Njoy!

Am I the only one who was completely NOT impressed with Rita (the real one)?

I thought the ride SUCKED.

Oh, well. That's why there are different flavors of ice cream. Not everyone likes the same things.

well i guess this topic has been dead for a while, but no wim coming from Vermont. All the supports are finished, now i just gotta make them all at 2 thickness. Its gunna take a day or 2, but the result will be worth it. The only structures staying at 3 are going to be the support structure on the brakes and the ones where the second turn briefly levels out. They are different support style form the rest of thie ride and in pics they look to be thicker. ANy comments welcome!

You might be able to do the flames, take a look at what I did on whiplash: http://www.weeweeslap.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10958&whichpage=2 If you can ignore the metal sheet for the lim you migth be able get a picture of the flames and put them on the sides of the train.

Your layout still deosn't look tight enough also the pinnacle of the second hill sits under the pinnacle of the first.
