Coolbeans, I agree with Jakizle...Dominator is awesome. That low turn is amazing, the first drop has some nice airtime if you sit in the back row right seat, the cobra roll has fast pacing and nice whip, a straight drop off the MCBR, and the loop has tons of hangtime which is great. From riding it 7 times a few years ago, I really think that ride is underrated. I loved it.

Thanks Dcs, i think the pacing on Superman in Spain looks horrible. I also think SKC beats it because it has awesome scenery, and my all time favorita drop. Its just crazy. It may also have the one loop that can rival the airtime on Dominator. And how many rides have helixes 100 feet int he air and dvie of the sides of cliffs? I love it. Anyways, let the BnM fest Round continue!

A little random, but since we're on the subject of floorless coasters....
Image
This could be almost if a perfect picture if it wasn't for the bad glare on the track.

I'll pick Anaconda @ Gold Reef City.

To me, this great coaster looks like it easily rivals any B&M invert. Two loops, a zero g roll, a double corkscrew, and TWO helixes that I've read of to be every bit as powerful as Titan's. And don't forget the great scenery! [worship]

And what CoasterkidMWM wrote for his recreation (that was when no one in NL really heartlined yet [;)]) :

Giovanola is brilliant. I realized that while making this track. They're briliant. They used the track of an existing ride company, the best ride company, and starting to make their own rides. The support setup for this ride was well thought out. Lots of the many supports create wondeful footchoppers and make the coaster seem faster then already is. Their helixes, as many have said, are awesome. On Anaconda, the main helix and the corkscrews are clockwise, along with the Looping Revolution. After going through those elements, they throw in a counterclockwise helix that sort of looks like it's "melted" from it's shape. The counterclockwise helix is probably extremely disorienting in real life because you're spinning clockwise so much before it. All ride manfacturers should take a look at Giovanola's ride, and do some research.

Well ya took my backup invert for incase someone took Pyrenees. :)

For my next ride, I'm going to take Insane Speed. I need another loopy ride with more than just vertical loops before I round out my woodie collection.

The most appealing thing about this ride to me is the 180 turn followed by a straight drop instead of a normal curving drop.

I believe Scream is the only floorless left, correct? Insane Speed looks alot like B:DK just without the 0g. Nice little compact coaster!

And what an idiotic thing that would be to do. I dont want to give away any possible picks I would consider. I'll have to wait and see until it gets around my pick to evaluate whats left!

I don't want to talk bad about your pick, because Steel Force isn't a bad ride, but it really doesn't have as much airtime as you'd think, and what it does have is generally very weak. Combine that with a terribly shaped first drop and relatively slow pacing, and you have a mediocre ride that could've been great. On the flip side it's a pretty smooth ride front and back, not B&M smooth but still done pretty well, and that helix is a lot of fun...great sense of speed in it. The last bunny hop is steeper than you'd expect, which makes the very end of it lots of fun because you're still floating when you're about 15 or 20 feet above the ground, going down at 35* or so. I've ridden it a good amount of times, and enjoyed it, but it's nothing compared to most of the newer hypers.

I have not ridden any Morgan Hyper personally [:(] (European here) I only like their style and how their layouts look - esp. those helixes that are almost like inclined loops. Steel force does look fun too, that double up in the end looks great, and the steep bunny hills are what made me think of a lot of air here. Thanks for the info dcs [:)]

It's a different kind of airtime really. Rather than throwing nyou into the lap bar violently like the bunny hills on Magnum, Steel Force tends to consistently deliver gentle airtime that is more sustained, and I've always liked the shaping of the first drop personally because it gives a unique sensation. You go over the lift and it gets steeper, shallos out, then gets steeper again, giving an interesting little pop of "hangtime". I've just always felt that the airtime on STeel Force is much better than any other ride around, maybe not as strong but definitely as enjoyable, to each their own though.

I disagree e-man. I think the airtime isn't nearly as sustained as it should be, and it's weak. What your're describing for the hills sounds more like Nitro than Steel Force to me.

I have several problems with the shaping of the first drop. First of all, it slowly goes down to around -30*, which kills 30* worth of possible airtime. Then, to make it worse, the pullover on the actual drop is very wide, reducing airtime. And (!) it has a long flat section on the drop. That's definately the worse first drop of any hyper I've been on, out of that, SROS SFNE and SFA, MF, Magnum, AC, Nitro, and RB.

Like I said, I don't want to badmouth anyone's pick...that's not my intention...I just think Steel Force is very overrated. Still an enjoyable ride like I said, and the consistently short lines are awesome.

See I would rather have a mini hyper like Steel Eel. Huge airtime, and an awesome "swooping" first drop. And ive never ever waited in line in 5 years. Its awesome!
