I want one of these..... 512 mb. That thing is HOT.
Get the Radeon x1900XT instad, it runs games better and cost alot less then 7800GTX 512mb.
Anyways, here's what I got on my computer
2.8 P4 w/HT Socket 478
ASUS Mobo
1GB Memory
ATI Radeon 9250 256mb
160GB Maxtor Hard Drive
DVD+RW/CD-RW Drive
CD Drive 48x
250w Power SupplyIt's crappy, I know but I'm going to built a new computer next month, here the specs the new one
Thermaltake Mambo Case
NEC DVD Burner
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (Venice)Socket 939
2GB Memory
ASUS A8R-MVP Crossfire Mobo
ATI Radeon x1900XT PCI-E
ASPIRE 600w Power Supply
Western Digital 250GB SATA 3GB/s Hard Drive
SAMSUNG Floppy Driveall that for less then $1,500
In your case I would rather invest some more money and buy the 4000+. If you overclock this thing a bit you'll have the perfect gaming PC togetger with you graphics card. I also have the 3500+ Venice, it's running fine, but with such an awesome graphics card I would buy an awesome processor too! (Although the 3500+ is already damn sexy!)
Pfff... I overclocked my 64 3000+, and it is now as fast as a 3800+! I think it has enough power for every game, while not beeing overclocked to the max. [which is 4000+]
My Pc:
Athlon 64 3000+ @ 3800+
MSI K8N Ultra Neo 4 Platinum
2gb Corsair RAM (don't know exactly, but they were expensive[:D]
X800 XL @ X800 XT [custom cooler]
2x 180gb Seagate Hard Drive [Raid]
1x 100gb Samsung Hard Drive
400w Power supply
Cost: ~500????????? (I bought the parts at a Wholesale, and assembled it at home]
