Yeah it does look an awesome helix! You should be going pretty fast still when at the bottom!

Im going to be going to SFoG some time this year can someone tell me when the best time to go is. A time I can get all the rides in 1 or 2 days max. Like i'd prob wanna go on a wkend, but if there's a better time i'd adjust. Oh yea and a time after Goliath is scheduled to open???? You know gotta wait for it.

Weekdays for parks are usually always the best. THe days that come to mind for me are mondays - thursdays as the best. Of course some days usually are more crowded then others depending on what time you go. Late June through out all of july is always the busiest time for all theme pakrs.

Monday or Tues are usually your best days to go to the SFOG, especially before the summer "officially" starts. Once the area schools are out it can be hit and miss, but either way the lines are not usually too bad. Of course, with Goliath being opened I would go ride everything else first, and plan on being at Goliath about 3 - 4 pm ... that way the "novelty" of the new ride has worn off and your wait will most likely be under an hour.
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.

actually i think that waiting until later in the day is not going to make much of a difference. if you can, get to the park before it opens and just wait outside the gate. it's then a race to see who can get to teh ride first. at least that's what i did for superman and it wasn't that bad. for a weekend, sundays aren't usually TOO bad, just as long as you get the main rides in at the beginning of the day. tuesdays and wednesdays are your best bet.

i still think the best day to go is in mothers day r fathers day if you can, because most peoples parents make them stay home and be slaves for them

Yes, that is a good idea, I did that for Superman one time and I was first on, front seat far left. I rode it twice before they could fill a whole train. Tconwell is right though, if you go to a ride around 3 or 4, there will be a short line. 3 is usually around the time that people go eat lunch or leave. Batman's line always gets really short around this time.

awsome, i want to go over spring break but i live a bazzilion miles from six flags and when we got there there would be a long line. I am thinking about getting up real early one morning and going myself. (LEGAL DRIVER NOW YEAH) (LOL). But my parents are all paranoid about me getting on the interstate.

yes, those catwalks are annoying, but the ride looks glorious. Definately looks like its going to be one of B&M's best mega coasters to date, if not the best!

Catwalks aren't too annoying, but if they have to be there to protect Georgia Scorcher then so be it. And, agreeing with Coolbeans, the coaster looks very nice.

hyyyper, 2 things wrong with that:
-they have them on the drop and a few hills(I think) so what would be their use there?
-it's possible to get things over those and onto the train/track

There are pathways and roads under various parts of the track. Its pretty obvious that there is really no way to stop someone from chucking something far away and over the nets so my best guess is that they are there to stop anything from falling directly below onto crowds or vehicles.
I think it has been said that there is a locker station being built outside the station, so I would assume that to prevent people from throwing stuff off the ride that there will most likely be a strict no loose articles policy being put into place.
