So tell me, I gotta know -- after designing in NL for 3 years now ... please tell ME -- What is a camelback wizard?
Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all.

It is impossible to do without knowing:

a) The angle of the lead-in that you have
b) The angle of the lead-out that you want

Basically, no one (and I mean no one) is going to be able to build you a perfect camelback without knowing what you have, want, need, wish to have, what your track is doing, etc. Or better yet, you could learn it and build it yourself. But - to help you out some (more than I just did), here is a picture of several examples:

Dude, sorry to burst your bubble, but the wizard isn't that good. The only values you can put in are speed at top and heigh. No angles or anything can be done with the wizard. It only builds from 0 to 0. Handbuilding or using the PURG is the way to go!

^Or just use the HSAK to create the parabolas which works perfectly for me.

I love the HSAK, but how exactly, the lowest angle i could do was 10 degreees

You sir, aren't very clear on your demands. All you have to do to make a hill with the HSAK, is make a COMPLETELY FLAT TURN, with the cangle adding up to be the degrees upon entrance plus the degree of exit. Then you rotate in the purg.
For an example:
Here would be some numbers:
Radius:10
Cangle: 90
AngleA:15
AngleB:15
Then have everything else 0, except for the one Zerr function, have that as the default 1. Then you go into the purg and rotate with values of Z Axis d = 90 and X Axis d = 45. With that, you will have a top of a hill with an entrance of 45 degrees and an exit of -45 degrees.

^ No its better to do what your most comfortable with.

I do it with HSAK, exactly how real and Jimmy have said to do it. Its the easiest and most effective way IMO. You can get just about any parabola you want with it.

Thundermat, I didn't say it was the best way, I just said its not a bad way to go. Thanks for those numbers Jimmy, I forgot them since you told me on AIM. If you can make the parabolas with the purg and h-sak, the hill sections work pretty well because you can control the radi's and the entrance and exit degrees. So say you have a parabola that goes from 45 to -45, the entrance should match in radius, with the entrance(starting at a flat point) being 0, and the exit being 45. The do the same, just with the entrance 45 and the exit 0. I hope this helps man! It works for me alot, just when doing basic hills.

However, as far as I know (limited knowledge and such) its not really a parabola, just a constant arc with a leadin and leadout [;)] Please correct me if I am wrong!

created with Red's bowfu parhat formula

I wouldn't really worry about getting into those more advanced formulas yet though...unless you really want to find out how far the rabbit hole goes.
