I heard a rumor that Batwing will be repainted black in the future because of the darkness of the new Batman Begins movie.

It was a nice ride, definitely better than the B&M's for sure.

I'd like Twister at Habtoorland! Before I describe, please check out these stunning pictures...

http://coastersandmore.de/rides/twister ... main.shtml

This Maurer Sohne Spinning Coaster features one of the, if not the most stunning locations of any ride in the world. Add crazy spinning cars, bunny hops, a double down into an intense helix, wild mouse style turns (maybe 1000 feet over the valley), immersive theming, and the crowning jewel: a nearly vertical U turn (!) near the edge of the cliff; and you've got one amazing coaster. Fun enough for the family, thrilling enough for even the seasoned enthusiast.

^^ Do you think Gerstlauer or Maurer cars are better?
With Gerstlauer you get to see the faces of the people riding with you, and you can laugh about it more, i guess, where as Maurer you face outward, and basically you get the unobstructed view.
I don't know which would be better myself.

Round #9

Round 8 is over and we only have 4 to go! Chances are we will be building our parks and voting by the end of February. Here is the draft data up to round 9.

Round #9 Order of Drafties

1-coolbeans326
2-hyyyper
3-guitarplayer673
4-Woodie Man
5-jimths08
6-RRollergod
7-ragan
8-CoAsTeRkRazY
9-DJ tommy
10-Jakizle
11-Dirk Ermen

Its seriously time to start designing your park. The final criteria are as follows.

1-must have a name
2-must have 2 things that set it apart from the other drafters parks. IE, no two drafters can offer free soda. What sets your park apart will be a first come first serve basis. The faster you email me (after the 12th round is over) the more likely you will get your choice.
3-you should type a 2-3 paragraph description of your park
4-you will have to have a sponsorship with one food company. IE, Papa Johns will provide your parks pizza
5-you must have a specific location for your park including pictures. If the spot isn't photographed, you can't have it. The location doesn't have to be a currently operating park or even where a park was planned, but it should be close to a large number of people or a prominent landmark.

Since this is the first time we're doing this park thing, if you feel there is anything wrong with the rules above, please contact me or post here. I'm sure we'll run across a problem with it sooner or later, better sooner.

coolbeans326 has until 8:49pm 02-09-06 to pick.

Olympia Looping

Olympia Looping is a travelling coaster found on German fun fairs. The original coaster runs with up to 5 trains at once. Trains have either 5 or 7 cars.

It IS NOT listed in the RCDB.

It IS listed in your NL tracks. [:D]

They also have pictures of it some where on TPR. I remember some one posting a TR about going to a German fair, and that, as well as several other famous portable coasters, were there.

And Hyyper has finally picked the ride that claims two top of its class claims, the best layout of a woodie and the worst maintenance [lol].

No he shouldn't have more time. It's not anyone else's fault that he picked a ride that was already selected, so he should not be granted the extra time to pick his ride. Not to be mean, but he should have paid attention to the previous pages, or checked them.

I think these drafts should be bi-annual. Once at the beginning of the year, and once towards the end of summer, or something. Good idea?
