The link says it all. I am not sure how Disney is all to blaim on this as my experience with mainland Chinese has been equally entertaining. Seems manners and etiquite are not taught by Chinese schools.

My observations on this are that most of the world besides Europe and the US and Canada really don't have the kind of manners we have.

Yeah, this was on the news. It's funny how they'll show some dumb Amusment Park news from half-way around the world, but nothing from close to home(Cedar Point, PCW, SFDL, Martin's Fantasy Island)

I guess there just trying kiss ass and are trying to get a deal from disney.

You guys so totally inconsiderate. Look up the complete bullshit people in that country have to go through because of the government.

I'm sorry I wouldn't have never thought of throwing my kids over the fence, that's brilliant.

I'd say that there are plenty of Americans who would freak out over a little thing like this and do the same thing, so don't just go around saying that the Chinese are retarded.

Sold out 8 days in a row? Wow. In retrospect for Disney, putting a theme park in the most populous country on Earth was probably a good idea.

these people have been in complete isolation sice just after world war 2 , disneyland is something they've always heard of , and dreamt of, for many of them the idea of disneyland being closeby was probabaly a dream come true. they probably had no idea it would sell out.

now, t.j. that isn't very nice... i'm almost 100% positive that you've lamented
the fact that people in china are under the control of a powerful communist government, and i'm sure you'd be leaping for joy if these same parents were throwing their kids over a fence to get a bible. this isn't much different for these people, this is an instance of being close to something we all know they've wanted to see, this isn't about bad parents, it's about an oppressive government and social system that has so secluded them that they see disneyland as a paradise they never thought they'd see. it's very important to these parents,ALL of whom remember tianemen, some may even remember the starvation and pestilence that ravaged their country after their revolution left them with nothing so that mao could show the world china's "stockpiles", that their kids get to go to the "magic place" they've never dare dream of being close to.... ha ah very funny... don't make me make the same comment about american fathers that take their adolescent sons to promise keepers...
